Earth Day should be everyday , I feel like the people who truly care about our home take care of it. In many ways it’s hard because our practices to try to lower our carbon footprint just gets drowned out by the masses and corporations .. the horrors persist but so do we 🌱.

A few shots from my first outdoor set with my pal @visual.canopy . He showed me this incredible little space in GSO, where even some locals don’t even know ! He continues to be a huge influence and friend almost 3 years? Later. ✨

I’ve gotten to mix outside a few times for burns, day parties and I hope to be able to play outside more and truly dive deeper into the frequencies & energy the earth shares with me 🔮.

One month ago we ran an experiment in Durham - a night of boundary pushing club sounds outside of a club atmosphere.

The night included original stage & lighting design by Visual Canopy @installation_____ , Danley Sound from Signal Productions. and the space invited attendees to settle in and immerse in sound and vision for the full night. The eve featured the talent of DC's Matthew Cha @saxmachine1234 on buchla for both an early ambient set and late techno set.

huge thank you to everyone who joined us. We welcomed folks all the way from Atlanta & Charlotte, many local loved ones, and new faces who share a love of the underground and active listening experiences.

This is just the beginning phase of this experiment. We aim to continue cultivating immersive experimental club sounds in unconventional spaces in NC and beyond.

If you'd like to know about upcoming events like this one, DM Lex @lexnellmusic for our contact form. We look forward to sharing what's ahead and would love to have u along for the ride.

you can also catch Matthew, Nile ( @secrethandshake.vip ), and Lex this weekend (Oct 10-12) at @slingshot_festival in Durham.
