BEHIND THE SCENES!

So before I started my YouTube channel IVY TV KIDS I had no clue on editing and content creating. While I have a creative mind from being a performer and knew what I wanted on paper, it baffled me how I was going to produce it!
I spent hours, days and weeks watching YouTube videos on how to video edit on a laptop that couldn’t quite handle the job but I went for it anyways! I still have a long way to go and I am still seeking advice everyday from amazing content creators in the kids world (special thanks to @kidsfunscience most recently) but I am proud of how far I have come! My channel isn’t monetised and I purely create content and post across @ivytvkids platforms in my own time whilst also holding down a full time job! I find the time (some how) because I love it and I am so grateful for all of you here today! 🥰

So here are some photos of behind the scenes! Literally with my portable story time little set up and me getting soggy in the rain ☔️ 😅

If you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet I’d love if you could pop over there and take a look! Link is in bio. Much more content for the kiddos there 🤩🤩🤩

Have a great day 🌈

Rachel 😃

The UK is a rich tapestry of dialects and accents which in turn reflect the ebbs and flow of local history.
👉🏽But why are people with some accents perceived to be less intelligent, friendly or trustworthy than others? Participants of the study were asked to rate the intelligence, friendliness or trustworthiness of different accents.

Above are the results.

👉🏽What do you think are the real-life implications of accent prejudice?

1️⃣Leaked documents now show the Home Secretary pressed ministers and officials intervened to give a previously unreported £28.8million contract to a firm represented by Samir Jassal.

2️⃣Her second intervention to help Mr Jassal came days after she tried to secure a separate £20million deal for the same firm, Pharmaceuticals Direct Limited (PDL) in an alleged 'glaring and flagrant' breach of the Code.

3️⃣The £28.8million deal for surgical masks was awarded to PDL without competition six days after Miss Patel contacted procurement officials and to tell them what the firm was offering. She also – at PDL's request – contacted Transport Secretary Grant Shapps on the firm's behalf.

🔹And PDL went on to get a further no-competition contract for masks worth £102.6million for which the Government paid almost double its own 'benchmark' price.🔹

Lord Dyson - the retired judge who led the inquiry - found:

- Bashir seriously breached BBC rules by mocking up fake bank statements to gain access to the princess
- He showed the fake documents to Earl Spencer, to gain his trust so he would introduce Bashir to Diana
- By gaining access to Diana in this way, Bashir was able to persuade her to agree to give the interview

DAY 5: FREESTYLE FRIDAY

#100daysofenrichment

Boxes treats paper what more could a pooch want.

These were left to stand for 20/30mins so the smells really get absorbed in the paper and cardboard.

Could of packed these a little tighter if I'm honest but still lasted 20min or so.
