POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Such a special two days in the presence of @doctorshefali
Just wow. I knew her work was powerful, but to hear her in flow and in the flesh, sharing her wisdom, her lived experience and her knowledge was truly phenomenal and inspiring. Her work around conscious parenting is SO needed now more than ever in our crumbling world of anxiety.

The key to honoring, minding and nurturing our next generation is not focusing on THEM as the problem to be "fixed" but is consciously looking in the mirror at ourselves. If a plant doesn't blossom we don't examine the seed, we examine the soil. The environment in which it is raised. It's not always easy to hear this - but we FIRST have to do the work, so that we don't project our unhealed pain upon them.

It's not about blaming or shaming anyone - it's about healthy curiosity, maturity and responsibility to honor ourselves and our loved ones. Parenting is MESSY, it's meant to be. Nobody is perfect and nobody has it all figured out. It's an awakening on all levels.

Another thing she spoke so powerfully on was the destructive impact of technology on our kids and on us all! It's next level stuff. DON'T give them the phone. Delay delay delay - @smartphonefreechildhoodireland. Better fight that battle of not giving it to them, then give it them and deal with the repercussions of all that comes with social media at that young vulnerable age. Choose your hard.

And lastly and probably most importantly - what are children missing so much of in today's modern world of everyone having to "do it all!" - what's getting lost - PRESENCE and CONNECTION with our children. Healthy attachment. Time with them. Repairing. Say your sorry when you mess up
- because we ALL mess up.
Release the expectations, surrender, choose your battles!

Thank you @drshefali for all you do. Please go read her books - consciously raising boys and consciously raising girls.

And lastly - huge thank you to @jacquelinekyne @kynefoundation for hosting it all and bringing it all together for two magical nights in Ireland

Very special and truly memorable

Thank you 🙏💓🙏

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be sitting on a podcast talking about my life, my journey and my business, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. 🥹
But here we are. And this one feels pretty special.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of being invited onto the A Little Birdie told Me podcast with the wonderful @instarebeccahoran

Rebecca is not only an incredible woman and podcast host, but also one of my amazing clients. So to be able to share this experience with her made it even more special.
We talked about a LOT. My journey, the highs, the lows, the things that have shaped me and ultimately what The Self Love Revolution is all about. And I’ll be honest, I probably shared a few things I wasn’t expecting to! 😂

It’s raw, it’s honest and it’s probably one of the most open conversations I’ve had about my life and the journey that’s brought me to where I am today. I’ve always believed that the things we go through in life, even the really bloody difficult ones, can shape us in ways we never imagined. And if sharing even a small part of my story helps another woman feel a little less alone, believe in herself a little more or realise that it’s never too late to change the direction of her life, then that means everything.

A genuine pinch-me moment and something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Thank you so much Rebecca for having me.

I’d absolutely LOVE for you to give it a listen. And if you have a friend who you think might take something away from our conversation, please share it with her. And while you’re there, give A little Birdie a follow. It’s such a brilliant podcast, especially for all you busy mums out there! ❤️
