Module 1 — Performance & Nature

Three weeks. Three different ways of learning from what surrounds us.

Ráhel Csizmadia @bloodyrahell begins from soil: weight, gravity, density, support.
Kata Balogh @int.r.sections takes us to water: the Danube, flow, circulation, liquid public space.
Sándor Petrovics @3i_dances enters through climate: attention, atmosphere, intuition, what moves before it becomes visible.

Different practices, different languages, different doors into the same question:
What if nature is not something we make art about, but something we learn how to make art from?

Starts soon!

@int.r.sections @valyovalyo

highlights of a Budapest summer🍒

While people come to this city for holiday, locals often try to escape the place as soon as the heat hits. Myself included sometimes. But actually, Budapest offers so much to do, enjoy and learn from! Some of these are free, like having a dip in the Danube or playing volleyball & catching up with friends on the riverbank.🫰🏼

Where do all the leaks meet? What is being dissolved in liquid public spaces?

What is this drainage system which serves as urban infrastructure accommodating the excess of water, waste materials, flows and desires but at the same time is draining territories, landscapes and people of their health, wealth and resources?

A three week residency in Budapest for new project Leaking Landscapes is slowly rounding up! Amazing artists and new friends exploring with us the bath house culture, liquid spaces and ambiguous border territories in-between city and river. Thank you to Kata @int.r.sections , Vasi @_imrevass Réka @reka.oberfrank_official , Luca @lutzaa Lilla @kammermannlili and Zita, @zita.thury This woudn’t have been possible without the precious support by @sinartscentre and the wonderful Anikó Rácz and Luca Kövécs! Thank you @statenskunstfond for the continued support in our research💙

🔍 PERFORMANCE & NATURE MASTERCLASS

This Masterclass (Module 1: Sept. 7 – Oct. 2, 2026) is designed for artists, movers, and researchers drawn to questions of ecology, land, soil, water, ecofeminism, hydrofeminism, and embodied knowledge.

The second week of Module 1 shifts from soil (Week 1) to water. Working with the Danube River as both material condition and reference point, participants explore what it means to learn from flow: how things circulate, erode, deposit, transform, and continue. This week introduces a pedagogy of liquidity: how to move within a frame without fixation, how to remain responsive without losing orientation. The river is understood as a collective, living, liquid public space where bodies, infrastructures, histories, and currents coexist and negotiate presence.

🏤" Sziasztok! Itt megint Kata.
