Thank you to everyone who donated “ left your gear all over the gym “ to our community gym up in PNG 🇦🇺🇵🇬
.
The boys really appreciated it & were so excited with their new shirts etc .
.
We have a donation box at reception if you’d like to donate more training equipment as Coach @adrian_pang will be travelling there more regularly. 🙏🏽

2014 I signed with @onechampionship .
.
My first fight under their banner was in Beijing, China against a very tough, formidable & experienced opponent.
.
I went on to have 8 fights with the promotion & although I was never offered the fights I had in my contract, I am grateful to have been able to test myself against some of the best fighters on their roster.

If at first you don’t succeed , try again.
.
Been around the block a few times & I’m grateful to be able to pass on tried & tested knowledge to my students at @integratedmmahq .

Blew the cobwebs out the other night at IntegratedMMA
At 47 years old I’ve still got lead in my hands & iron in my jaw but not so much gas in the tank 😂
Time waits for no man.

Coach @nds58 was fighting MMA way before everything had to be documented on social media.
.
In the early days of MMA fighters fought because they wanted to & didn’t get to pick & choose opponents.
.
We are grateful to have someone who has fought in the game be able to share knowledge with the new generations coming through our doors.
.
Nelson has not used social media for the best part of a decade so give him some love when you next see him on the mats 🙏🏼

Before i went out to fight for Cage Force 1 in Japan they checked my wraps & made me cut the bandage off my knuckles.
.
I submitted my opponent in the 3rd round which wasn’t supposed to happen judging by the promoters reaction & the crowd silence.
.
I fought through a lot of adversity leading up to this fight which would be the 6th fight I had that year.
.
We fought for over 13 minutes yet the footage released on air was about 1.32mins
.
Cage Force was the 1st Japanese promotion to use an Octagon & it was an honour to Main event on their inaugural promotion even though when it aired to TV they bumped me down to semi main .
.
Looking back I can laugh about the trials & triumphs leading up to this & there’s so much more to tell.
.
Perhaps I’ll write a book someday 🙏🏽
