The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust 2024 Cocktail Party team (and friends) thank everyone who participated in this year's fundraiser and helped the Trust raise more than $63,000! These funds benefit both the Trust's own operations and the animal welfare organizations it supports. We will be posting more photos from the event soon, but in the meantime, photo booth pictures are available at https://www.simplebooth.com/gallery/L8YUHv5JXN7K-edward-gorey-cocktail-party (or by making the "Photo Booth Photos" selection through the link in our bio).

⏰💗 Happy Anniversary, “Temporary Lover!” 💗⏰

First Clip:
July 28, 2017 - “Temporary Lover” writing session.

Second Clip:
February 15, 2019 - “Temporary Lover” music video DEBUT❣️

… YOUR (he)ART takes TIME❣️

Thank you for being supportive of independent recording artists, singers and songwriters.

When we are creating, producing and financing our work, it STILL “takes a village” (African Proverb!) but it also certainly takes a lot more time to bring certain projects to fruition. Thank you to the team that made this song and video one of my greatest accomplishments. It looks and sounds like a million bucks. Thank you❣️(I will always brag about my “children.” That’s what a songwriter’s songs are to them❣️ You raised him well and keep looking and listening after him). Okay… done with the metaphors… for now.

Thank you for purchasing, downloading, streaming and watching, “Temporary Lover!” I am so excited to bring you new music in 2023 but it’s oh so fun to look back❣️

Happy Anniversary❣️

Happy Thanksgiving from the Trust's cast of characters to yours!

"What the murderer failed to realize is that...” A climactic illustration in Gorey's 1972 meta-murder-mystery, THE AWDREY-GORE LEGACY, in which the one-armed, one-legged, half-Irish, half-Japanese private investigator Waredo Dyrge (with his dog, Deary, named for Dyrge's favorite detective BOOKS, Dewda Yorger's DEARY REWDGO SERIES FOR INTREPID YOUNG LADIES) addresses the suspects in the murder of mystery novelist Miss D. Awdrey-Gore. Gorey dedicated the work to one of his own favorite novelists, Agatha Christie. Pen and ink on paper, 6 1/2 x 10 /12 inches (sheet).
