Better late than never!!!! 🖤 Still in disbelief over the @yourshotau weekend. It honestly took me well over a week to recover, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. Every lesson, every late night, and every bit of feedback pushed me to become a better DJ, and I’m so grateful to have been part of this experience. A massive thank you to my trainer, @djwheresholly for believing in me every step of the way. Thank you to everyone who came out, supported me, shared my set, or believed in me throughout this journey I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. It was such an honour to play the AlphaTheta stage <3 A special thank you to @1800blkout for all the extra help and support. It made such a huge difference. Still trying to process this weekend. I came into @yourshotau hoping to learn some DJ skills and meet some people. But I left with people I can genuinely call family. To everyone I met over the past few months, thank you. I honestly feel like I’ve made friendships that’ll last a lifetime. The amount of love, support, encouragement, and laughs this community has given me is something I’ll never forget. To everyone who came to watch my set, shared a story, sent me a message, or cheered me on from the crowd, thank you. It meant more than you know. A massive thank you to @destic__ and @michaelcairdmusic for teaching me, believing in me, and helping shape me into the DJ I am today. I wouldn’t be here without you both. And a huge thank you to @brandon_white_harris for giving me the opportunity to showcase my set using the @helloheadphonesau telephone headphones. Literally so in love with them and it made all the photos look so good 😂 And a huge shoutout to @sakamantogram for absolutely grinding the entire weekend behind the camera. As a photographer myself, I know just how much work goes into taking photos for so long. GET IT GOING!!!! 🤍

This weekend reminded us exactly why Zersty exists. @yourshotau was more than a competition, it was a celebration of local talent, passion and the community that stands behind it. Watching artists take that first step, supported by friends, family and a city that genuinely cares, was something we’ll never forget. Our identity was built through Drum & Bass, but our purpose has always been bigger than one genre. Zersty exists to support local talent wherever passion, commitment and authenticity are found. Seeing so many people wearing Zersty before we’ve even officially launched, and watching @nathantmoko (@intent.dnb ) wear his Zersty shirt during his set, was a moment we’ll carry with us forever. We never expected our own city to embrace an unreleased brand the way it has, and for that, we are endlessly grateful. The @coopd.up × Zersty collaboration also made its first appearance this weekend. More than a collaboration, it represents everything we believe in, passion, humility and relentless dedication. Coop’d Up continues to prove why he’s one of Perth’s most exciting artists, and we’re incredibly proud to have him represent the beginning of our journey alongside the city that’s given us everything. To every artist, every supporter and every person who has reached out to us over the last four years, thank you. The love you’ve shown an unreleased brand has been overwhelming, and we’ll never take it for granted. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store. Perth didn’t just inspire Zersty. You built it. Wear The Sound.

@yourshotau is done. WOWOWOW. I can’t believe we just achieved something so incredible. This has been the most insane experience of my life. 😭♥️ I signed up 2 weeks before selection day. Had no idea what I was getting myself into. Then I quit my mining job and went ALL IN. So worth it to say the least!! During my interview on selection day, I was asked why I wanted to join. My biggest thing was community. 2 years ago in July I was living in Kalgoorlie and I wanted to take up a new hobby and be more involved in the music community. I bought an FLX4 and my journey began. I remember telling my friends that I would love to be able to perform just one gig in my life!!…. Anyways, two years later, this July comes yourshot and I have achieved everything I wanted and more. I have found a family for life through music, I have found a part of me I never knew existed. I found myself. AND I GOT FUCKING RUNNER UP OF MY STAGE 😭 ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! To look down that night and see all of my friends and family supporting me, was something so special that I will never ever forget it. And thank you to my Yourshot family who were there screaming your fucking heads off, you guys absolutely rock and I’m so grateful!! I have cried to many happy tears, I’m so proud of myself and I’m so proud of all of you 😭 so epic, wow!! These photos don’t even do justice for all the people that I’ve connected with throughout this journey. Thank you to everyone involved who made this happen. Such an unforgettable experience. What an incredible weekend at @yourshotau . We attended to support local talent because that’s always been one of our core values. It didn’t matter if it was Drum & Bass, House, R&B or any other genre. Watching people step outside their comfort zone and perform in front of a crowd for the very first time was something truly special, and it reminded us just how much talent Perth truly has. One of the biggest highlights for us was seeing @nathantmoko (@intent.dnb ) perform in a @zersty_official shirt, proudly representing the brand while putting on an incredible performance. Moments like that remind us that this journey is becoming something much bigger than clothing. Then came a moment we’ll never forget. Walking upstairs and seeing @coopd.up debut his custom @zersty_official × @coopd.up collaboration for the very first time genuinely brought tears to our eyes. Coop’d Up has believed in us from the beginning, just as we’ve believed in him. Watching someone we now call family proudly wear something we created together was one of the proudest and most emotional moments we’ve experienced since starting Zersty. It’s a memory we’ll carry with us forever. A massive shout out to @_rarah21 , @katri.zone , @baddie_bk_ , @gracembrz and Heiress. Every one of your sets blew us away, and the passion behind every performance was impossible to ignore. To every DJ who entered, congratulations. Whether you took home a trophy or not, stepping from the crowd onto the stage to pursue your passion already makes you a winner.
