The art of the market #selfie. Sometimes it’s for content, sometimes it’s bc you’re kinda bored, other times you’re like “how tired / sweaty do i look”? And then of course when a friend comes by you also have to take a selfie. 🫰🏼🤳 ✌🏼 So here’s a lil dump from a couple years of markets. Shout out to @luluxsaleh for helping me out sooooo many times. And to by dog for luring people into my booth :)

Recap of my first art market at @intodo.us This was my first art market EVER, 2 weeks prior I had 0 things to sell, and with the help of so many of my friends, my family, and my girlfriend @loaflanguage.la we were able to make it happen! Stay tuned to see how I began in the first place :) My deepest gratitude to those who came and spent 5 minutes of their day with me at my doodle-booth. Those who stopped by and supported made me feel even more motivated to make this art thing real. Thank you.

A closer look at the textures that have been keeping me company in the studio. 🌀 Every piece is handmade, glazed, and kiln-fired right here in LA—focusing on those thick, sculptural drips and fine crackle finishes that turn a functional piece into a tactile experience. My heart is so incredibly full after connecting with everyone @intodo.us last week @suaysewshop ! It was an absolute dream sharing my work with such a thoughtful community. If you missed last weekend or want to see the latest collection in person, I’m packing up the studio again! Come say hi tomorrow, Sunday, May 17th, at @aapi_la ’s 5th Annual Celebration at @smorgasburgla @therow I’ll be out there from 10 AM to 4 PM with a fresh lineup of wavy trays, stacked vases, and textured bowls. 🏺✨ See you in DTLA tomorrow! ☀️ . . . #smorgasburgla #AAPILAMarket #TotallySocialCeramics #ceramics #handmadeinla

If you missed us this past weekend at the @intodo.us fair at @suaysewshop , here is a quick recap💫 It truly takes a village, and we are so incredibly grateful for ours. We spent the weekend connecting with the local community, watching our new SS26 knitwear and archival pieces find new loving homes, and treating ourselves to goodies from the neighboring tents of brilliant local creatives. Between Lola getting showered with affection by everyone she met, and Mama Ke showing up with homemade dumplings and noodles, and our friends Gabu and Iris dropping by, it was a very wholesome day 💓🤗💓 We also got to pickup some newly dyed pieces from Suay and they look incredible! Huge thanks to the InTodo and Suay teams for hosting such an energetic & creative space. We love you LA! Special thanks to @6erronimo for a energizing us with a solid playlist throughout the day〰️😎🌹🎶 #kerisma #losangeles #knitwear

From seeing the very first BẠC pieces out in the wild — worn, celebrated, woven into people’s memories. From watching the brand grow from a family passion into a missing piece that somehow, magically, inspires community reconnect with their Cultures. From the 1st incredible, meaningful fashion show with @risenow.us 🩶 From those 1st nights prepping for our very 1st markets - lack of experience, low sales, but unlocked so many valuable lessons - the confidence that I start telling myself “This will work”. Bringing BẠC to you has become one of the most powerful ways for me to re-discover my own root. Thank you for believing in me, even when I didn’t. Celebrate yourself, your family, your story, and the incredible AAPI creatives around you — not just this month, but always ⭐️ Catch us in our next events: 5/21 @abalosangeles Women Symposium AAPI Market🩶 5/23 A curated AAPI market at @rebakesic 🫶 #aapiheritagemonth
