My daughter is here contemplating the moon @cardiffnationalmuseum, it really made me think how the moon is the portal that gets us first intrested in the planets and the stars.

In a natal chart if your sun and moon are conjunct you know you were born on a new moon, your emotions allign with your soul identity, it may be that you have to work on seeing other perspectives or underatanding how others don't expereince the world like you.

If your moon and your sun are exactly opposite in your chart you were born on a full moon, your emotions and your soul identity may feel polar opposite and with work you find ways through life to keep them both happy.

Every month we have a new and a full moon, the new moon will be connected to a sign of the zodiac and the full moon is connected to the opposite sign.....May 2026 is a bit of a different month as this month we had a full moon in libra on 1st May, a new moon in gemini on 16 May and we will have a full moon in saggitarius on 31 May.... what this means is that the pattern has flipped and now the new moon was is in the energy of now (gemini) and the full will be in the opposite sign saggitarius.

So what does that mean, for me what i have been noticing is the playing out the axis between gemini and saggitarius.....the new moon about information, gathering, enquiring, getting the data.....planting seeds of knowledge....the full moon is where these seeds expand and we experience their growth. Saggitarius is about a single focus, having a philosophy, a perspective, a desire to go to the place that gives you the answers whether thats physical, geographical, conversations, texts or museums......it really fits with the feeling of gathering before action that i am seeing in so many people around me.

The second photo by @intothelight_wales shows the moon behind barbed wire it made me think of the times i haven't allowed myself to follow the cycles of the moon or listen to the messages it has. No standing for 5 minutes contemplating, no breathing in the air....the 3rd photo is me watching a bird freely fly by as i give the moon 5 minutes of my time
