Jumping into Iceman season like… 🚵🏼‍♀️🤘🏼

November 7th is right around the corner, and this year’s Iceman Cometh Challenge feels a little extra special!

It marks TWO years since I first started mountain biking and my THIRD time lining up for Iceman! 🥹

It’s crazy to think how much can happen in just two years. From learning a new sport to pushing my limits, building confidence, and discovering just how much I love being on two wheels.

And I have to give a shoutout to @intrepidcyclingco! The training I’ve put in there has been a game changer for my strength, endurance, and overall fitness on the bike.

Here’s to another year of growth, grit, and seeing what these legs can do out on the trails!

Let’s goooo! 💪🏼🔥 @icemancomethtcmi

First gravel race with my new gravel bike. I haven’t introduced you to her yet. Just got her in March. Being on a gravel bike has been a learning experience. I had a race strategy that went OUT the window once the announcer said 3, 2, 1 go. All in all, I’m happy with my performance. I took 1st place in my age category. I would definitely race this course again. Cute little downtown Ionia. @ridecowpie @robmphoto 📸

What a great day for a race @arcadiagritandgravel! Placed 3rd OA Female and 2nd in my age category. Big grit was a tough course for me this year. Last 45 minutes was filled with back pain and the last 30 was lots of muscle cramps, it was a battle. Learned some things this race and met a new racing friend! Trilliums were out and @robmphoto captured them perfectly ❤️👀🚴‍♀️ Thank you @intrepidcyclingco racers for showing up, racing & volunteering! *not pictured is me taking podium for 3rd OA female as they had mistakenly given my metal and announced the 4th place winner as the 3rd* see race results pic for details.

Another fantastic @mudsweatbeers weekend at @mtholiday ! A bit chilly start to the day but great course conditions made for super fast and fun race times. Always great to enjoy a beer or three with so many friends in TC. More pics coming soon to robmeenderingphotography.com. #robmeenderingphotography #michigancyclingphotographer
