We knocked 1,028 doors this past weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina as part of our voter empowerment efforts to get out the vote and fight voter suppression before the midterms! This important work ensures voters know how to cast their ballots and get their voices heard and was accomplished with our multigenerational group (ranging from 21 to 91 years old). It wouldn't have been possible without the collaboration and support of The Center for Common Ground, Team Unity NC, Jews for Freedom, Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, Carolina Jews for Justice, Charlotte Muslim Caucus, Dayenu, Interfaith Alliance, JALSA, and North Carolina Council of Churches. #NoKings #NoKingsVoteEarly #GOTV #GetOutTheVote #DemandDemocracy

🔗 Register at linktree (tinyurl.com/Satsangh2026) From Janmashtami to Navarathri to Diwali, Hindu festival season in the diaspora is full of puja, music, and family for many. For many LGBTQ+ folks and their families, it’s also a lonely time. 💔
We hide parts of ourselves, skip the gatherings we used to love, or feel shut out of our own communities.
You deserve a space where you can be your whole self, with no fear of being outed, rejected, or judged. 🌈
Join Dr. Raja Gopal Bhattar (they/them) for affirming prayer, practice, and reflection rooted in a Hindu framework, centering faith, love, peace, and community. 🙏
✨ This is an intergenerational gathering for LGBTQ+ people, their families and allies. Come as you are, and bring your parents, partner, or chosen family.
🌸 Dr. Bhattar comes from a long lineage of SriVaishnava priests and scholars and is a genderqueer educator, author, and leadership consultant who reclaims progressive, feminist and inclusive perspectives of Hinduism, Sanatana Dharma and Vedic rituals. You are not alone this season. 💛

FALSE There is no evidence of an Islamic takeover of the United States. Interfaith Alliance is a nonprofit, nonpartisan multifaith organization whose stated goal is that “the freedom to believe and practice religion is protected for all.” “The Vote is Sacred” bus tour is an effort to get individuals from different faiths to vote and is not specifically focused on Muslim voters. The organization supports the separation of church and state, which it sees as essential to religious freedom. Read more: Debunkit.org #factcheck #voting #islam Blue background; DebunkIt logo with a black checkmark on two staggered orange rectangles in the top left and “DebunkIt” next to it; "debunkit.org" on the bottom right. The image explains why a post on X is false. There is a screenshot of an X post from a user with the username, “@WallStreetApes” that reads: “WOAH A Pro-Muslim organization called Interfaith Alliance that was “created to counter ‘the religious right’ and Christian groups” is taking a bus to 15 states and stopping at Mosques to mobilize Muslim voters for Democrats This is the Islamic takeover of America This group says they have a strong opposition to ‘Christian nationalism’ and ICE immigration enforcement They also partner with the No Kings protests and George Soros funded Indivisible nonprofit The Democrat Party is the party that will bring the Islamic takeover of America. It’s happening right here before our eyes America made a horrible mistake mass importing Muslims” “FALSE” is written in large orange letters There is a response to the post. The full text of the response in this image is included in this post.
