Bringing the tablescape of our greenhouse tea party together was such a joy. We wanted to lean into the witchy season, but in a way that felt ethereal, seasonal and a little elegant. We had thought about every little detail beforehand, but the funny thing is, we didn’t actually know what the final tablescape would look like until the day itself. I brought lots of pieces from my own collection, while everyone else added their own elements: locally grown flowers, beeswax candles, tarot cards. And then we spent the afternoon putting it all together, moving things around, adding bits here and there. I think that’s one of the things I love most about styling events. You can put so much thought into the individual details, but you don’t necessarily need a huge budget or a perfectly mapped-out plan. Especially when you’re working with a group of creatives who all bring their own ideas, talents and beautiful things to the table 🪄✨🫖

A little taste of late summer, captured back in August with the lovely @intuitivechefkate at @justwildbarn 🍅 A beautiful menu celebrating the season, with juicy tomatoes, blackberries, golden honey focaccia and the last of summer’s courgettes. From tomato, balsamic blackberry and labneh with rye crumb, to griddled courgette with charred corn and chermoula, spiced pumpkin borani, a savoury upside-down carrot cake and a blackberry meringue pie, every dish captured a little of that hazy, late-summer feeling. Alongside photographing the menu, we styled a tablescape to complement the dishes, bringing together summery gingham and dahlias for a pop of seasonal colour! ✨ What a joy! #seasonalfood #foodstories #bristolfoodphotographer #somersetfoodphotographer

We might have to do this one again… 🍂✨ The response to our witchy afternoon tea at @walledgardenatmells has been so lovely, and we’ve had so many people asking if they can join us next time. So perhaps this is our sign to make a little more room around the table. Who would come? 🕯️ And another huge thank you to everyone who made this afternoon possible 🤎 Venue: @walledgardenatmells Food: @intuitivechefkate Tea: @cominstea Cauldron + tarot: @holistic.alchemy.uk Menus: @olivepaperdesign Flowers: @florifere___ Ceramics: @tashfry_kla Candles: @studio.neighbour Photography: @pantryandplace Videography: @jordanstormlouise Production: @idleandwonder

The greenhouse tea party at @walledgardenatmells was pure magic. Quite literally. We leaned fully into the season and went a little witchy. Tarot came out, the cauldron went on, tea was poured, and the greenhouse filled with candles, flowers, vintage pieces and beautiful ceramics. But the real magic was having so many brilliant people bring their own craft to the table and seeing it all come together for one gorgeous, joyful afternoon ✨ Venue: @walledgardenatmells Food: @intuitivechefkate Tea: @cominstea Cauldron + tarot: @holistic.alchemy.uk Menus: @olivepaperdesign Flowers: @florifere___ Ceramics: @tashfry_kla Candles: @studio.neighbour Photography: @pantryandplace Videography: @jordanstormlouise Production: @idleandwonder

Magical Afternoon Tea A gorgeous tea gathering @walledgardenatmells The countryside is full of wonderful, talented creative souls and thanks to the energy & vision of Miriam @idleandwonder we were invited to join some of the best at the unique hideaway @walledgardenatmells for a delicious tea gathering. We chose to share teas from Buddika in Sri Lanka & Rajiv in Darjeeling to complement the sweet & savoury feast from @intuitivechefkate (lapsang cured salmon, cheese scones, whipped butter, smoked chili jam 🍥 botanical shortbread, Russian honey cake with fig & roobois syrup) The menu a feast for the eyes even more beautiful in @tashfry_kla ceramics. The table so inviting with flowers from @florifere___ textiles from @jordanstormlouise, menus from @olivepaperdesign & Tarot readings from @holistic.alchemy.uk getting everyone talking & sharing which is surely what tea time is all about. It has been some years since I visited @walledgardenatmells and I fell in love once again with this hidden corner - to walk & sit amongst the gardens of @dianebirch & the team here made the few hours spent here more like a whole day. It won’t be long before we are back 💐. Why not get to know some of the amazing people around this tea table a bit better by checking them out below. Let’s raise a tea cup to more creative collaboration and the conversations, laughter & connections made over tea _______________________ Firstly @idleandwonder - Miriam who makes it all happen. The beautiful space : Such a warm welcome from @walledgardenatmells & @dianebirch - thanks to Caroline & Vienna @eldr.studios ❤️.
