The word we received was so profound I had to share and yes also to show some of the amazing folks in my community.

#sermonexcerpt
Your approach to handling a thing will determine its effect in your life. What you see the Bible as will determine how it blesses you.

Proper interpretation of the Bible is to understand its pre-text, context and post-text. God wants you to honour the word as it is being accurately preached.

Two years of God’s faithfulness, two years of progress and joy in the faith and we’re just getting started.

It’s the season of love!!

Dear friends,

Tomorrow is the famous February 14th, the day we go all out to impress our loved ones and celebrate love.

However, before we deck ourselves in those beautiful silk dresses and shiny suits, and before making hotel reservations and booking surprise gifts, here are a few things I'd like you to take notice of:

1. Sex is not a love language, nor is it something to be exchanged for gifts received. This rule applies to both men and women. While you enjoy being in the arms of your lovers tomorrow, remember that your body is your own, and you shouldn’t feel pressured to do anything you're not comfortable doing. Sex is an activity that should be enjoyed by both consenting partners and shouldn’t be transactional.

Do not allow anyone to coerce you into doing something you do not want to do.

To avoid this situation, you can prepare your own gifts in advance so that you won’t feel compelled to use sex as a reward for receiving gifts.

2. Yes means Yes: If you decide to engage in sexual activity, ensure that it is consensual. Always seek an affirmative YES from your partner before proceeding.

"She didn’t remove my hand" is not consent. Your partner must clearly and unequivocally express consent. Be sure to obtain this consent when your partner is not intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. This rule applies to all genders.

3. Protect yourself: As consenting adults, it’s important to take responsibility for your sexual health. There are various affordable methods of protection available. Choose the one that works best for you and ensure you protect yourself.

4. Consent: It's crucial to understand that consent should be ongoing, enthusiastic, and freely given by all parties involved. Take the time to educate yourself and your partners about what consent entails and why it's so important in fostering healthy and respectful relationships.

5. Resources for Support: If you've experienced coercion or sexual assault, or have questions about sexual health, know that there are resources available to support you. Consider reaching out to 09039844291, for guidance and support.

Remember these rules and stay safe !!!
