These weren´t released so far and it´s pretty long time ago.

The one and only @dennislyxzen having a little and refreshing rest after @invsn show at @kabinet_muz in Brno at the end of 2022. Thank you mister for the greatest evening!

Swedish Hardcore Punk legends @refused at Brixton Academy, part of their final world tour - a mind blowing show! I couldn’t get to the front to take any decent photos as the crowd was wild! Here’s frontman Dennis Lyxzén with The Soundtrack of Our Lives guitarist Mattias Bärjed who has been playing with Refused for a while now. Once the tour is over the four members may continue to make music together under a different name, so that’s something to look forward to. Mattias will be back with TSOOL next year to continue their successful reunion and of course Dennis has many other projects on the go such as INVSN, Vännäs Kasino and Fake Names amongst others… I managed to get a video of most of “New Noise” before it really exploded around me and you can see this at our Retromanblog65 YouTube channel. We also have special episodes of Retrosonic Podcast with Dennis and Mattias in our Retrosonic archive - just search SoundCloud, iTunes/Apple Podcasts or Spotify or check the Retro Man Blog archive (link in Bio). #vännäskasino #refused #refusedband #dennislyxzén #mattiasbärjed #tsool #thesoundtrackofourlives #internationalnoiseconspiracy #fakenames #invsn #brixtonacademy #punk #punkrock #hardcore #hardcoremusic #hardcorepunk #retromanblog #swedishmusic #umeåhardcore

Next guest is Mario - Bila from STEPPED OUT (Split X Hardcore).

This interview is special because it's a band from my hometown and Mario talk about what it was like growing up in a war zone and being a hardcore kid at the same time.

Hardcore For The Losers presents :

A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE

(Interview with 9 questions)

This idea started a long time ago, but it has only now been realized due to several factors. Every time when I feel it, it will be an interview with the Person, Band, Label, Booking or Festival that currently has the greatest influence on me, both musically and in daily life.

Any criticism and suggestion are welcome.

Happiest of birthdays to one of the most important people in my life. Without @dennislyxzen I probably wouldn’t be here today. Waaaaay back in 1992, I first heard of a small band from up north of Sweden. They were called @refused and they were something else than anything I had ever heard before. Their social agenda of politics, straightedge and or vegan/vegetarian lifestyle instantly appealed to a whole generation of young people, and I was most certainly one of them.

Through them I found the whole sXe punk movement which drove me away from alcohol and drugs at an early age. I was vegan from 1995 all through 2012, and have only took up a very moderate amount of alcohol in the last few years, but I never ever drink enough to get drunk.

I still have no “need” for alcohol, I just like to enjoy the taste of a fine whiskey from time to time, under strict moderation.

Now here we both are, a lot older and a lot wiser, and still doing what we love. Enjoy the Refused world tour, my dear friend, och hoppas ditt stora hjärta slår i 53 år till, ditt gamla spektakel. 👊🏻

@vannaskasino captured in Berlin by @_thaniarodriguez
Our album with the fantastic title #2 is out on streaming.
Did you check it out?
Do you like fast rock music?
Or did you buy it on vinyl?

Do me a favor and take 25 minutes of your life to give it a listen. Would make me really happy.
And maybe give us a follow on the socials.

Vannas Kasino II - the superb new album from the band that feature Dennis and Sara from The (International) Noise Conspiracy and INVSN. It’s a cracker that’s even better than their brilliant debut. The band will go out on a European tour once Dennis has finished his dates with Refused. Don’t forget our thoroughly entertaining Retrosonic Podcast with Dennis is still available in our archives, subscribe at all the usual podcast platforms or check Retro Man Blog (link in Bio). #vännäskasino #dennislyxzén #saraalmgren #thomashedlund #kajsapoidnak #internationalnoiseconspiracy #invsn #refused #swedishmusic #punk #punkrock #swedishpunk
