Just slid the truck into the driveway from the absolute best art adventure in Cheyenne Wyoming with the @cfdoldwestmuseum and wayyy more!
Here’s to selling a couple paintings to awesome collectors and the best sales team on the planet. Thank god for you.
Also lemme tell you about Cheyenne.
Local free art galleries.
Rad parties with friends at the F*CKING Governor’s mansion.
Exploring some ideas for the Resonance show at the @armitchellmuseum in October
Seeing a town you’ve shown art in for nine years come together with new life. Highlights during the day were painting live at @wyominghome (who I’ve shown work with for NINE YEARS), visiting @hammock_art ‘s spot @westward_wyo with the @greeleyhatworks pop up, seeing what @steveknoxart is doing with @arts.cheyenne , watching the dedication of the new Indian Village at the Old west museum (there’s a Steelers logo in that man’s beadwork btw, AND the event was a beautiful testament to the work being done there), finding @inward.arrows ‘s and @kateoltmann ‘s work at the @the_cowboy_emporium (@steveknoxart I already shouted you out) Julian has a show coming up there that I’d RECOMMEND checking out.
Had some ORANG juice that ran out at the hotel breakfast feat I had with John. It wasn’t a typo, it was juice from orangutans. Damn I really missed out on that one.
And damn if I didn’t get that photo with @brandon_bailey_art ! We came up together. At one of the most depressing shows you’ve ever seen. Trial by fire, literally. He helped bring me up when he could.
Ended my stay with the epic-IST of epic bro-downs (you know who you are)
If you wanna tell me that Cheyenne isn’t an art town I will literally fight you. Come find me, and I’ll drive you up there. And maybe not literally fight you but show you the raddest humans on earth. THERES SO MUCH MORE THERE. Just go.

FAR WEST AUSTIN, TX

Snapped a few of my favorite pieces from the show before all the festivities kicked off—no particular order here.

Still feeling grateful for the people that made it all happen, the conversations we shared, and the friendships that were made over the weekend. That connection is one of the best parts of being an artist.

It was an honor to share the walls with such a talented group of artists, each bringing their own style and perspective to this timeless subject matter.

I look forward to sharing some new work with y’all soon.

Hope y’all have a great week ahead!

Far West Austin was beyond magical and on a whole other level to any art opening I've ever experienced. Getting to hang my work alongside so many living luminaries of the western art world was already reward enough but selling all 4 of my pieces really took the cake. Sharing ideas, stories, memories and hearing wisdom of so many creative souls will be something I am forever grateful to @lefawnhawk and @markmaggiori for. They created this amazing event that took enormous amounts of their time, energy, and money to pull off and their generosity and big hearted warmth for other artists is radiating out now through the cosmos.
Thank you to the new collectors I got to meet and hang with, so many artists and new friends--what a weekend! @thefarwestshow @preachergallery @amandasylviemamathemama

Hey everyone! I’m Julian Centofante. Happy to be taking over the account today. I’m a California based artist and studied Two-Dimensional Studies at USC Roski School of Art and Design.

So why do I paint the West?
On my non-Italian, side my grandfather was from the White Earth Chippewa Reservation in Minnesota and carried a strong sense of pride in his Chippewa lineage. That pride was passed down to me and became a powerful influence in my life and artistic voice. On my grandmother’s side, I also trace lineage back to 1800s Santa Fe, New Mexico, where my ancestors were prominent figures in the local community.

In my work, I like to bring together elements from different times in history, shifting their scale and perspective. By blending Native American and Western influences with my own contemporary approach, I blend together timelines. I’ll tell more specifics about my artwork in the show in a later post!

*This video was done by my brother @berto_cent who is an extremely talented professional photographer.

Thank you @markmaggiori and @lefawnhawk for including me in This show!
