This is your sign to pick up a tin and join the club! Tinned seafood is convenient, nutrient-rich, shelf-stable, and clearly a great snack.

@patagoniaprovisions and @nicecans___ making sustainable seafood delicious and chic. Save this for your next snack night and follow us for more ways to enjoy seafood.

We made our way up and down the West Coast, from Monterey to San Diego, giving this year’s cohort a behind-the-scenes look at the people, organizations, and ideas shaping aquaculture across California.

From research and restoration to oysters, abalone, seaweed, and community-based programs, our interns saw just how many paths exist within the industry. More than anything, these trips give them the chance to build connections, ask questions, learn from the people doing the work, and imagine where they fit in the future of aquaculture.

We’re grateful to the funders, partners, and champions who welcomed our interns and made space for them to learn and dig deeper.

A special thank you to Ken and Kyona Zak for funding our California interns and helping make this experience possible. 🌊

we are so stoked to announce that we will be playing TWO nights on the wonderful @flagbrew patio.

many of you know that we have been longing to play the patio basically since the inception of the band, and when we attempted to last year the show was unfortunately rained out so we had to move inside.

got a wonderful weekend of music coming up for you folks with some support from local legends @passthebutterflg and @rollmehomemusic.

should be a rip roaring good time so swing by if ya can and tell your friends too !

Saturday night was one for the books!! @playaponderosa.skiclub came together with some new club members for an amazing collaboration filled with contributions from so many talented friends!

Big ups and thank yous to:
Our hosts: @firecreekafterdark @firecreekflagstaff @joshuajaybird
Our VJ and Sweet Lasers Squad: @jimmy.chromakey @z.le.czar @de_forrestation representing as Prescott’s finest!!
Our DJs/Producers: @abscura.wav @adam_handyman_neville @joshuajaybird @io.moth_ @irie_eyez @spiiiracy_dubz
Our Production collaborators: @junejamaz @sacredgrain.woodworks @wav.presents @adam_handyman_neville
Our photographers: @tanah_scott @de_forrestation
And last, but most important: all of our community that showed up to get down! That dance floor was hot in so many ways so thanks for shakin your ski booties like it’s Christmas in July!!

After my set with @irie_eyez to bring in the sunset, I broke out the 50mm to grab some shots of the show! (I didn’t get any for Cole and Josh’s set cause I was breaking down my vinyl stage—sorry boys) I borrowed some video from @wav.presents for this post, but do ask if you have any photos you’ve taken that your particularly fond of to please send them my way for a future fan photography post with all credit given to where it’s due!

Can wait to see you all out for our next @playaponderosa.skiclub adventure! Stoked to have you all along for the ride!
