Hair color time!

I stopped bleaching my hair half a year ago and now I just do my roots with high lift color I use @ionathome True Tone’s for dark hair in Copper this is my first time adding some red to it and I love it even more. So it’s one tube of copper and 1/3 a tube of red for my roots with 40 volume and for the mids and ends I use one tube of copper and a tablespoon of Red ( this is a guesstimate ) with 10volume. I picked up these items from @sallybeauty with my own dineroooo 😘 When my color fades I will usually touch up with @lunartideshair Spiderlily

I had a hard time finding a formula on the inter web for this kind of tone so took it upon myself to share this with you guys 🫶🏻

I made a lot of mistakes with this cos permit. 🤣 My mannequins have been through things that would have a real client requesting a refund and a manager…maybe even a lawyer. 😭

But that’s why we practice on them first.

Shoutout to all the cosmetology mannequins holding it together by their last three strands. We couldn’t do this without y’all. Literally. 😂

how i bleach my eyebrows !!! using bondbar lightener and ion developer !!!

i am not a professional. this is what works for me !!! read the directions and do what feels best for you 🖤

i do a 2:1 ish ratio of developer to lightener.
mix into a paste.
apply to brows. full saturate and wipe away the excess.
let sit for 10-15 mins.
wipe away bleach.
wash with purple shampoo. let sit for 5 mins.
rise and carry on.

Beauty maintenance while carrying life 🖤

Raw Cambodian natural wave bundles, install, cut, and color by @hairhealthguru ✨ We decided to go back to jet black using @ionathome as I enter my second trimester, keeping postpartum in mind and choosing a look that will be easier to maintain once baby arrives.

There’s something about getting your hair done that makes you feel a little more like yourself. With all the changes pregnancy brings, I’m making room for the things that help me feel beautiful, confident, and cared for.

This chapter is teaching me to embrace a little more ease, plan ahead, and enjoy being poured into while I’m pouring so much into the life growing inside me. A fresh install, a beautiful cut, and a little time in the chair were exactly what this mama needed. 🥹

Decided to dye my hair on a whim and filmed it! Welcome to glamour grind! The roots weren’t covered like I would have hoped but I think the color turned out great. I always love my hair more about a week after dyeing it so maybe I’ll do an update then!
