At the beginning of the year, I was having a conversation about my dreams connected to tap dance. @tapmusicproject seemed like one of those that would never come true.

Little did I know that a few months later, during Stockholm Tap Festival, I would receive a full scholarship! This was a sign I needed to go!

@sourtaps, I will be forever grateful for this opportunity! 🥹❤️ Huge thank you to @ianberg67, Denise, and @enrique.rosario1 for all the knowledge! Meeting @rusty.frank and @chestera.whitmore was truly amazing, I could listen to them all day! I am soo happy I met all of those amazing dancers and could tap with them for these few days! Thank you for the warm welcome and your kindness, I had the best time with you all and I've grown so much!

I still cannot believe it wasn't just a dream.

Did you grow up dancing and want to throw your shoes back on? Are you curious about tap dancing and just want to try out some moves? If so, join local dancer Katie Franqueira at @‌juniorhighla for a 90minute beginner friendly tap class on Monday June 16th from 7:30pm-9:00pm!! Never tap danced before? No problem!! No shoes? We love sneakers.
