What a blessing it is for our family to watch Lafe change his life and prepare to serve. He was smiling from ear to ear yesterday was SO READY to go! ❤️ There were a few tears but mostly excitement and anticipation.

It was a tender mercy to have Lafe’s dear friend @chelsey_hughes there headed to the same MTC on the same flight! They have been friends since preschool!

This little spot by the front door has been our photo booth for years—first days, big nights, and everything in between. Love all the big things that started at our front door. And now getting ready to send our last one into the world through that same door. It is so rewarding but gosh it’s hard! I’m not crying 🥹🥲🥲💦

💙 Happy Birthday IP! 💙 Isaac is such an amazing man and so kind hearted. 💙 He is such a gentle and patient father and would do anything for Hailee and the kids. 💙 In the 28 years of being his mom I have never heard him yell! Yet he is an amazing leader. He leads quietly by building others and through his example. 💙 He never comes or leaves without giving me and everyone else in the family a hug 💙. If you know Isaac you can’t help but love him. 💙I look forward to seeing where his life takes him in his medical career and in the Navy. @pahish @iparrish17 @medschoolwife

🏈 Salem Hills Football 🏈 has a long standing tradition of a Veterans Night at one of the games each season. It is always one of the best nights to witness all the Veterans and members of the armed forces that come who have served and continue to serve. This year was extra special. 💙🏈❤️ I was able to see both my boys together on the field as Lafe and his team as well as the Provo football team escorted the military men and women onto the field. It was a humbling and beautiful site to see. There was so much love and gratitude shown that night.❤️🏈💙 Both of my boys have played football for Salem Hills and have been coached by the greatest of men. They have not only learned the game of football from them but have also learned so much about love and respect for others. 💙 I’m so grateful for them and how they have helped to build men out to boys. I’m grateful to live in this country where these opportunities are given to them.
I loved seeing both my boys in different uniforms that night walking arm in arm. And to see the love they have for each other. ❤️🇺🇸❤️🏈❤️ Thanks to all who made such an amazing night! @iparrish17 @lafeparrish43 @pahish @shhsfootball1

Family trip to the cabin and Elsie’s 4th birthday! She was adamant that she didn’t want to turn 4 that she wanted to stay 3 but on the day of her birthday she decided 16 sounded good. Whatever birthday it is we sure love celebrating our Elsie! We had so much fun at the cabin playing games shooting guns, reading and watching the Olympics! #cabintime @pahish

More from our trip back east after Isaac graduation. We toured the Breakers mansion in Newport Rhode Island. It was unreal! We had a fun night with Isaac and Hailee and her parents at the Red Socks vs Royals game. ⚾️🏟️There’s just something about being at Fenway Park and watching baseball. We spent an afternoon with our friend Ebraham who we met when we visited Boston a couple years ago.💙 He is an amazing man and we feel blessed to have crossed paths with him. He took us to Quincy Market, Mike’s Pastry, and other sites in the area. Chad found two yummy Vietnamese restaurants that make my mouth water just thinking about! Also a visit to the beautiful Boston temple.
