We had the time of our lives hosting the Savannah Comics Choice Comedy Awards. This year’s theme was A Family Affair, and the brief couldn’t have been more fitting. In many ways, it was a full-circle moment for us. When we started this journey 14 years ago our dream was to build one of South Africa’s best comedy brands, and have some fun along the way. A massive shoutout to all the nominees, performers and winners on the night. A special thank you to all the people behind the scenes who made it possible for us to celebrate the industry at the awards:

Performers: @lindyyay @tumi_morake @mgudazi @khanyisilecomedy @theconradkoch @mrchestermissing @momo_matsunyane @therealtrev.lynch

And special thanks to @savannacider and @comicschoiceawards for supporting SA comedy all the way

5 days to go. ⚽️

What started as a dream in the dusty streets of Umlazi is now a living promise to the next generation. The Vuyo Biyela Foundation Football Tournament is almost here.

This is more than football. It’s about shaping futures, feeding dreams and reminding young boys that where you come from does not limit where you can go.

Umlazi, we are coming home. 🫡

Free entry, bring your umbrellas, coolers and camp chairs and enjoy a fun filled family day. ⛱️😎

Full circle moment 🙌🏽⚽

From playing street football in Umlazi to now hosting a tournament in the same community, I am taking it back to where it all began.

Having once played on these very streets and under the local football structures, this moment is deeply personal, a return not just to a place, but to the roots that shaped me.

This is what legacy looks like. 🙏🏾 Coming back to uplift the very streets that raised you, and creating opportunities for the next generation to dream even bigger. 🩷🖤⚽
