Once upon a time, a tiny little girl dreamt of being on camera.

She thought it was a little too far fetched. That it would take too much, ask too much of her, and perhaps belong to a version of her that was still very far away.

And then, somehow, this day happened.

The cameras were on. The show was on screen. I was standing there with the people I had shared this journey with, celebrating the release of something I had actually been a part of.

Looking back at these pictures, I keep thinking about how often we pray for something, ask for something, wait for something to happen, and then immediately start asking for more.

Rarely do we stop long enough to realise that we are already living in one of the days we once prayed for.

Maybe that is the strangest and most beautiful part of growing up.

To be living the life you once thought was too far away, while still having the audacity to dream a little bigger.

There are some moments that feel a little surreal when you actually stop to take them in.

I had seen Doordarshan Kendra so many times before this. On television, in interviews, in press coverage. And then, one day, I was sitting inside that very studio, being interviewed about a show I had worked on.

There was something very special about that moment. Not because it was a big interview, but because I could actually feel the distance between imagining something and living it.

We spoke about Suraag 2.0, Rani, the experience of shooting the show, the people I got to work with and everything this role has brought with it. And now, a few weeks after the show premiered, the full interview is finally out.

Suraag 2.0 airs Monday to Friday at 10 PM on @ddnational and streams on @waves_ott
