When herds pass through human settlements, they can become disturbed and panicked, leading to high-stress situations, especially if they have young ones. Guiding them properly, particularly at night, presents a significant challenge. We always try our best to safely guide them without disturbance

Thank you, Elephant Initiative.

Rain has already started in the northern part of West Bengal. To express our gratitude for your long-time support, we are launching a tree plantation drive in the elephant corridor area. This initiative began with the children of Sanyasi Tea Garden, and we aim to plant 500 trees as a gesture of thanks.

Kiranchandra Asian highway 2 Elephant crossing.
One of the Major point for wild Elephant crossing. In 2019 one Elephant died due to accident.
Due to heavy bush on both sides of the Road it's really difficult to spot Elephant at night & in Early Morning . For better visibility for the drivers & also for the safety of Elephants we cleaned the Road Side area.
Small & effective steps always matter.

A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who contributed to my campaign to raise funds for storybooks for the children of Deomani Forest Village in Darjeeling. Your generosity and support have made a significant difference!

Today, on World Environment Day, I am thrilled to share that we've been able to provide 145 storybooks to these bright young minds. These books not only nurture their imagination but also foster a deeper connection with nature and our environment. Together, we're sowing seeds of knowledge and empathy.

Since January 2024, with the Permission of DFO Kurseong Division & Range Officer Bagdogra , our monitoring and joint awareness drive with Bagdogra Range has been in full swing. No major conflicts reported so far! 🙌🏼 Plus, there's been a notable increase in prey base of leopards. 🐆💚
While conflicts won't disappear overnight, our ongoing efforts are certainly making a dent in minimizing them. Let's keep pushing for a harmonious balance between humans and wildlife! 🌍 #conservationwin #wildlifeprotection #communityunity #followers
