Per Contra goes in the 425 today @ponteraces with @dave.k.allan riding for @timeasterbyracing and Ryedale Partners. 9 opponents and it’s a typically competitive handicap but PC should like the ground. Drawn in 7 shouldn’t be particularly significant. He is in good form and should be in the shake up if he runs to anywhere near his best,

@yorkraces and the 507 race the last on the card sees Per Contra running for Ryedale Partners and @timeasterbyracing with @dave.k.allan in the saddle. Drawn wide in 16 unfortunately. 🤞he can overcome that and get a reasonable position and run on to the line. Only 19 opponents to beat!

Mount King turns out quickly again for @timeasterbyracing and Ryedale Partners @ponteraces in the 421 with @dave.k.allan on board. Drawn 3 of 14 and a good pace guaranteed with Garden Oasis in the field let’s hope he is fresh enough after his run @redcarracecourse on Saturday where he ran very well. He is on a good mark but with a big field he will need some breaks if he is to drop in and then run past horses and through the line. 🤞he can be on the podium today

@ponteraces today for Per Contra in the 352 with @dave.k.allan on board for Ryedale Partners and @timeasterbyracing. He steps back up to Class 3 company to try to follow up his victory @redcarracecourse a couple of weeks ago. Drawn 4 of 10 hopefully he can break well and get a good position in the first six and run on through the line, 🤞

253 @redcarracecourse today for Mount King with @dave.k.allan riding for @timeasterbyracing and Ryedale Partners. MK is in good form and the going should suit being on the quicker side. He has a decent draw in 4 of 13 and hopefully can break well and get into a good position in the first half of the field and get a clear run to the line coming through a few to get his head in front! 🤞

A win for Per Contra today @redcarracecourse for Ryedale Partners and @timeasterbyracing under a lovely cool ride by @dave.k.allan who kept PC covered up knowing that he likes to come through horses and the break came and he seized it winning cosily. 👏Per Contra’s first win of the season but hopefully he can go on from here as the ground eases through the autumn

Tomorrow @redcarracecourse Per Contra runs in 251 race for @timeasterbyracing with @dave.k.allan riding for Ryedale Partners. PC has ten opponents over 10f and is off a mark of 78 some 6lbs lower than his last win. Ground should be perfect and as long as he breaks reasonably well and travels he should run to the line and hopefully into a place or better. 🤞

Eleven opponents for Per Contra in the 140 @beverley_racecourse today - the William Hill Silver Cup - with @dave.k.allan riding for @timeasterbyracing and Ryedale Partners. The rain softened ground should suit PC so 🤞he gets a good handy position from the start which is in the chute at the top of the back straight and then finish strongly up the hill to the line
