What an incredibly successful fifth anniversary for @imagine_abq_ I’m so grateful for the community this organization brings.
Thank you @ypabq for hanging out this morning! The amount of hands that goes into putting an event like this is unthinkable and every day, I remember that this is what building a village is. Thanks for being one of the best villages out there. 🧡

This morning, our Founders @thedavidmeyers and @lencho1973 received the City of Albuquerque’s One Albuquerque Award, presented by @mayorkeller

Our Board of Directors was present in full force to show support to our incredible leaders. David and Lencho are more than leaders, they are community for so many Burqueños. We’re all incredibly proud to be part of Imagine Abq. We’re additionally honored and humbled to have been recognized by the city we love so much 🧡

These little kids turned into adults that show up for their community and we are so proud to have such an awesome board of people who care about our city 🧡

Yesterday was special.

A generous doctor in our community @city_of_vision donated exam equipment to help us serve children in New Mexico…and a dear friend + her husband @janelle4health showed up with strength, kindness, and willing hands to help move something incredibly heavy.

This is what community looks like.
This is what love in action looks like.

And this is only the beginning.

At Salt + Light on a Mission, our heart is simple:
✨ To make sure children can see clearly
✨ To provide eyeglasses to those in need
✨ To go where access to care is limited

Because vision is not a luxury… it’s life-changing.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

We truly believe we are called to be the salt and light—not just in words, but in action.

And as Mark Batterson reminds us:
“Bold prayers honor God, and God honors bold prayers.”

So today… we’re praying a bold prayer.

We’re believing for a way to take this equipment on the road—
to schools, communities, and children who need it most.

If you’ve been following this journey, thank you.
If you’ve supported, prayed, or shown up—thank you.

We’re building something bigger than ourselves.
And we know God is in it. 🤍

Camp Addy was one for the books. 🎉

It was an incredible night celebrating New Mexico’s top talent and creativity that reminded us why we chose this industry in the first place.

And while Camp Addy may be behind us, it’s only the beginning of an amazing 2026! 🎉

We’ve got more events, more opportunities to connect, and plenty to look forward to with AAFNM this year.

Creative party people, 2026 is just getting started!

A big shout out to @vivo.crtv for creating this amazing highlight and capturing the magic from Camp Addy ✨

That’s a WRAP on Camp Addy, this year’s edition of the American Advertising Awards. I said it from the stage last night and I’ll say it again - I work in the best business in the world. An all-volunteer group of some of my closest friends brought our community together last night to celebrate the truth & craft of storytelling. My crew at @wearesunny505 brought home some awards in partnership with the clients that trust us with their own stories - what an honor. Thank you to every single person who made last night an absolute thrill.

GIVING TUESDAY 🤍✨

This is just one of the emails I received last week. And honestly… it’s one of many.

There are children in our own city—right here in Albuquerque—who are sitting in classrooms unable to see the board.

Children who are bright, capable, and hungry to learn…

yet struggling simply because they don’t have access to an eye exam or glasses.

As Salt + Light Eye Care, and now Salt + Light on a Mission, I have taken this as my personal calling from the Lord:

to be the Salt + Light through eye care
and to make sure no child is left behind when it comes to vision.

But the need is growing.
And I cannot do this alone.

If you feel led to partner with this mission:

✨ DONATE: Link in bio (Stan Store)
✨ VOLUNTEER: Send me a DM
✨ PRAY: Cover this mission with your faith

Together, we can meet the need right here in our city… and beyond.

Thank you for helping us shine. 🤍
Matthew 5:13–16

2025 Imagine Abq Day WRAPPED!

We had a blast with community this year 🧡 As we keep growing our efforts each year, it is such a blessing to reflect on how far we’ve come. Imagine Abq started off with a few community members who felt the need to give back and beautify our city, as a unified force to be reckoned with. Here we are years later, collecting thousands of pounds of litter and engaging thousands of community members including schools and partner organizations.

THANK YOU BURQUE!🧡
