The Cop28 president asserts that there is 'no science' behind the calls for the phase-out of fossil fuels.

It appears to be business as usual with talks and disagreements primarily occurring in spaces where hope has been invested.

And so there's no reason as to why I would stop my "One Tree at A Time" slogan because we are in the race for survival in the name of adaptation.
Now One Tree at A Time, I shall press on my efforts.

So happy to have been able to participate in the Boston Climate Coalition Picnic with @divest_northeastern, @sea.brandeis, @divestolin, @divestharvard, and @climatedefiance. Building community amongst climate justice organizations remains vital to not only the efforts of our organizations, but also in improving our support of one another. We are stronger together than apart.

There are 13 days left till the meeting for Africa Climate Week. Let's gather activists from all around to work towards a single, shared objective: going green. This means phasing out total reliance on fossil fuels and transitioning to alternatives. Those of us involved in environmental restoration will also take care of the trees we are planting and nurturing them as they mature. There is much to be learned for this summit from organisations and people who are dedicated to improving the world.

This past week, our team at Famalao'an Rights attended @power_shift ‘s Convergence 2023 in Bvlbancha (colonially known as New Orleans), a gathering that connected youth organizers with other youth organizers to empower the fight for climate and social justice. Our team has always been dedicated to the fight for reproductive rights and serving our community, and we are excited to share with you all what we have taken away from this experience. We'd like to thank Power Shift Network for giving our teams scholarships to attend, the rest of the Marianas delegation for coming with us, and all of you for making this possible. We are nothing without all of you, and we're so excited to continue to do this important work.
