Thatโ€™s a wrap on Season 5 of Fauda and what an unforgettable, intense journey it has been. When you spend months doing grueling late-night shoots across dynamic locations, standard production fatigue sets in. But this season quickly became something far beyond filmmaking. When real-world sirens sounded and the war with Iran erupted mid-production, the boundary between cinema and reality completely dissolved. Suddenly, international crew members, foreign cast, local actors, and set teams were huddled together in bomb shelters between takes, eyes glued to news broadcasts, waiting for updates. In those high-stress moments, every line of distinction melted away. We became one tightly unified family, bound by a shared reality and a deep, collective purpose: the magic of cinema had to carry on. Telling the complex, human story of this land, its conflict, and its extraordinary people felt less like a job and more like a vital mission. Deepest gratitude to Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff for creating a universe that demands everything from everyone on set, and to our director Omri Givon for guiding us through the chaos with absolute vision.
