✨ JALIN: A Journey of Interdependence ✨

Opening this August at Guru Canggu, JALIN brings together three incredible contemporary artists to explore the visible and invisible threads that connect us all.

Derived from the Indonesian word jalin (to weave or intertwine), this exhibition dives deep into our relationships with people, memory, culture, and nature. Launching just ahead of Indonesia’s Independence Day, it asks a powerful question: What continues to bind us together after freedom is achieved?

🎨 Featured Artists & Mediums:
• Defina Sumardji – Expressive Painting
• Modjo – Vibrant Mural Art
• Intan Anggita Pratiwie – Intricate Textile Art

📅 Dates: 16 August – 16 October 2026
📍 Venue: Guru Canggu Boutique Art Hotel, Bali
Grand opening info and a full two-month calendar of community public programs are coming soon!

Hello 36 😍😁😋👌

🎶🎵: And I'm grateful
For those who are here when things are hard
It's easy to be here when everything is nice
The real ones are here when it's a bad day and the lightning strikes ☄️🔥💥💥💥🎶

The first minutes of being 36, I started with the best tiramisu at @irma.bacaro 👌😁
The last minutes of my birthday, I enjoyed one of the best Pavlova of my life at @mamasanbali 👌

🧑‍🍳 @paolo.mohamed & @meyrickwill

In life, I don’t like to mix or rush things — neither conversations nor connections. That’s why I celebrate with small groups of people a few days before, on, and a few days after my birthday 🙊😁

I’ve learned my lesson: quality over quantity always wins.

@cocobeli_ has always taught me this. Food has always been my number one passion in life 😁👌 and that will never change ❤️

@gingerbeli would never happen without @cocobeli_ the journey is important. I am grateful for all the lessons.

Thank you ❤️🌺🍀 excited not for next year, but for each and every present moment. Grateful for all beautiful people in my life. The beauty inside matters much more, so eat your cake & enjoy the moment 🎂👌

Didn’t expect this kind of Italian food in Bali… 🍝🍕

Lunch at @irma.bacaro : fresh coconut, a full spread, and that Nutella dessert to end (still thinking about it 🥰🥰)

Such an easy yes for your next Bali lunch spot.

Would you try this for a lunch date?

There’s just something about eating pizza in Bali that hits different… maybe it’s the warm air, the slow vibe, or the fact that you’re not rushing anywhere for once. Just sitting here, enjoying every bite, letting the day pass without overthinking anything.

Good food, good mood, and a little moment to myself 🍕

Do you ever have a place where even simple things like this feel extra special?

Again and again, it’s been proven that luxury doesn’t mean happiness. Including today😁
And those who were laughing at my low-key destinations, nothing fancy like Dubai, are now coming down to town. And I have nothing against it actually☺️ this comes for sure with many lessons 🌺

Happy Nyepi ~ the silence day in Bali🍀
Peace over everything, even luxury 😉☺️
