My first model casting in almost a year and my first time wearing and walking in my model heels since a 4-month injury. ❤️‍🔥 I remember when I first got injured and had to pull out of the biggest dance opportunity of my life up until that point. It felt like everything was ending for me. I mourned so deeply, felt so isolated, and felt like I had lost everything I had worked my entire life for. But no matter what, I continued to have faith and believe in God. And now, He’s brought me this far, doing what I love to do for His glory, but stronger, more healed, and walking in freedom more than ever before.

I know what it feels like to “lose” something you thought was everything to you. But in moments like those, and in seasons where all we think we feel is “loss,” God is actually helping us GAIN more of Him. What feels like loss is never actually a loss when you walk with Christ. He will never waste your pain, but you must surrender it all to Him, every tear. Sometimes, out of God’s kindness, He removes the things we start to put above Him in our minds. This season He’s taught me: “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.” Philippians 3:8 ❤️‍🔥

It’s so funny to think the opportunities I mourned over so deeply a few months ago, I now look back on and almost laugh at the pain, because all I’ve gained in the process of healing is CHRIST. The doors God is opening in my life now are bigger and better than anything I’ve ever asked, thought, or imagined, and in His timing I pray to share those things when the time is right. But for now, I tell you to continue to believe. If you’re still hurting, and if something feels like loss right now, God is doing something new in you, but you must believe God is bigger than your circumstance and even your dreams. Believe in The Giver, put the Kingdom first, and all these other things will be added to you. God is sovereign. Do not put your trust in man. Amen. To bigger and better in the name of Jesus, amen. ❤️‍🔥

Girls on the phone!!! Our faces always give it away 🙅🏽‍♀️.

I was looking to capture faces and expressions we don’t usually put on or expect to do when a camera is looking at us. But faces we for sure make throughout our day. Very amazing how our feelings and immediate reactions show through our lips, eyebrows, teeth, nose and eyes. And it is awesome. 👊🏼💋😋
