“The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41) All glory to God for the hardest and most rewarding experience. What a gift and privilege to choose suffering and put into practice counting it pure joy in an event as beautiful as an ironman 70.3 (or 69.1). The grit, sportsmanship, and passion I saw out there was beyond inspiring. I am nothing, I have nothing, and I can do nothing apart from God, and one of His greatest gifts to me was my family and friends. The outpouring of love and support got me through this race and the months of training leading up to it. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for each and every one of yall. Every volunteer at every aid station and every spectator along the course showed how special these events are and why I will continue to love endurance sports. Now back to studying for exams and doing homework ig 🙄 #halfironman #waco
