POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Meet Tamika Rowe, the innovative Atlanta-area chef who applies culinary expertise to two unrelated industries, building hair care and dog care brands simultaneously.

By night she’s running Silk at Candler, the Decatur restaurant and lounge she owns with her husband. By day she’s formulating for two brands out of her own kitchen in Ellenwood, GA.

She’s celebrating her birthday by giving something back. September 3–9: free shipping on all Irvmika orders plus a growth serum sample with the first 50, and a five-meal Pawradise starter pack for $50 for the first 50 customers.

@irvmikabhc — handmade hair and body care. Seven products, no filler lineup: moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, hydrating leave-in conditioner, nourishing hair oil, hydrating hair butter cream, hair growth balm, and hair growth serum. Built for dry hair, breakage, and growth.

@pawradise_bybrock — fresh dog food and full dog care. Gourmet meals, natural dog shampoo and conditioner, dog cologne, and bug repellent. Real ingredients, nothing you can’t pronounce.

She never planned to build either one. She had two problems she couldn’t solve on a shelf.

The first was her own hair — years of breakage, inconsistency, and products that promised more than they delivered. So she stopped shopping and started formulating, the way she approaches a recipe. Quality ingredients. A repeatable process. Testing until it holds up every time.

The second was Brock and Brooklyn. Her dog’s health was declining and the food bowl was full of ingredients that weren’t good. She reads labels for a living. So she cooked for her dog the way she cooks for people. Brooklyn came back coat, energy, appetite.

Two categories that have nothing to do with each other. One method behind both. Start with what’s real, build a process, and don’t ship anything you wouldn’t use yourself.

So if you’re a simple skincare girly this is for you! If you’ve seen my last posts about my skincare routine all I was doing was using goat’s milk soap and a multipurpose hair oil both products from @irvmikabhc. Now I’ve added their goat milk lotion in and it was THE best decision, especially as we get to these colder months gotta protect your skin from the dry air and this helps give that extra hydration in the skin, finish it off with the hair oil and it’s chefs kiss 🫶🏾

So gone and get their lotion and hair oil, both are good for the body and the face 🤷🏾‍♀️
