how did we get here so fast?🥹 I’ll always remember when we had two under one, they’re only 10½ months apart — our irish twins!!🫶🏻

last week when I took the boys to their haircut and I had all the kids with me, their barber asked me “How is it with 5? Difficult? Easy?” I replied with “Blessed”. Because truly there is no other word to describe how we feel being their parents.

*my* recipe for a happy postpartum🌷✨

this being my 5th postpartum experience and it being my best one yet has to be documented. I’ve fallen into very dark places before and prayed so hard for a different outcome this time around!

I’m outside when the weather permits; going on walks, breathing fresh air, and feeling the sun kiss my face — it honestly feels like a hug from God❤️ I’m nursing my baby wherever, whenever, without fear of others opinions or feeling like I *need* to stay home. I’m staying in bed when I can and not allowing time to rush me out of those precious moments! I’m wearing my baby in a wrap or carrier to be productive but with him near me(I love baby wearing so much). I’m leaning on my husband and letting him care for us and our home.

I’m living an answered prayer🫶🏻

If I could recommend one thing other than soaking it all in — it would be to, take the photos/take the videos or let someone do it if they offer to! Everything happens so fast and next thing you know in the blink of an eye, it’s been one week, one month, one year..

You don’t get the time back but you do get to relive those moments with memories like these. It’s been about 3yrs since we got a handheld camcorder and looking back at all the videos is always so fun + emotional🥹

Cherish the moments and keep the memories close🫶🏻
