For their Earth Day celebration, we spent time caring for the Pollinator Garden/Outdoor Classroom at I.S.I92 @is192q 🌎🌱

We planted Big bluestem in the upland module and added Beach plum and Blue vervain to the wetland module. Building habitat and hands-on learning spaces at the same time. 💧🌾

Grateful for the students and staff who got their hands in the soil with us and helped grow this living classroom 💚

Species planted:
• Big bluestem — Andropogon gerardii
• Beach plum — Prunus maritima
• Blue vervain — Verbena hastata

Best thing a dad can do is love their child’s mother

Sept 16th, 2025 Friends to Father Advocate Patrick Freeman led a conversation about the impact of involved Fathers in Schools and the Community at PS 192 JHS. It was so heartfelt to see Dads and some Moms spend time with their children for breakfast and share candid moments. Special Thanks to Mrs. Nathaniel, Assistant Principal Blaine and Principal Brackett for the invite and all the team that put together such a successful event.

The amount of students and adults who share with me that they have an idea, but they are not confident enough to go foward with the idea because they lack this or lack that, is very high.
They need to hear my message.
You do not need to be perfect, you need to start!
