no flowers - 5th song [OFFICIAL MV]

no flowers started about 5 years ago when ana and jade were in middle school.
then in freshman year of high school, jade met liz and invited her to join; and a few months after that annabella joined as a first time drummer.
for 3 years we performed in our high school guitar shows with the support of our guitar teacher, Mr.Flow.
every performance was a scary one, but a quiet achievement in our hearts.
after a year off music, we reunited with a plan, to make our highschool dreams real.
little did we know that one short video, announcing our first song would reach the amount of people it did, and that they would like it.
with the continued support of the people around us and our supporters.
we released our first collection of songs.
thank you to everyone.
we love you

Hello members of the Florida Film Institute.

The presented is a demo designed to discover the editing techniques that will be used in project SLEEPWALKER. Everything here is made solely in Premiere Pro. The first shot was a crudely recorded test shot so that's why its so noisy.

Sleepwalker is a project that is demanding on editing. This choice was not only stylistic. A highly edited film is perfect for a film produced by FFI for these reasons:

1. Limited Acting.
Although the volunteer actors try their best for the role, they can only improve so much with only a few acting classes. Sleepwalker caters to the acting talent by making its editing the 'main character'. The film's quality will not be bottlenecked due to acting mistakes because actors are a 'side character' to the editing. This will alleviate much pressure on the courageous actors and will lead to better results overall. Acting is a BIG job so any accommodation to the talent is a virtue.

2. Originality
There is not a single film published by the institute that is anything like this project. In fact, not many films at all are similar to Sleepwalker. The winning movie will be exchanged throughout festivals, so let's give the audience something that they have never seen before.

3. Redundancy
It's hard to 'fix it in post' but its possible to 'hide' mistakes in post with some creative editing. Luckily, creative editing is exactly the strength of the project.

4. What's in it for you?
This project may seem like a heavy workload, but that's okay. I don't expect anyone to know how to edit like this or be as devoted. I'll concern myself with that. I made this project so that it gives the team the least amount of burden while leveraging its strengths(my editing and audio equipment I have at home). I made this project with everyone else's enjoyment in mind. However, if you want to involve yourself with the project even more, be my guest!

For those who read the script, I KNOW you have questions so this is your chance to ask!

To my competitors, best of luck! I hope to be directing this film alongside one of you.

Thank you to my anonymous friend who lent me their Premiere Pro.
