Day 8. Going back a few years. @kellieokonek and @isaac.landecker took Tarryn and I on an adventure to the Alaska Range. Here we are taking in some apre ski snacks. One of my most favorite days in AK.

The last two weeks have been so special and rich with family and friends visiting! From catching loads of fish, hiking many mountains, eating so many s’mores, celebrating the 4th in Seward and all pitching in to sealcoat on the sunny days, we made some very special memories!

The ski flying finale of the season was a pretty amazing day! A solid crew, fun corn skiing in a new place, plane picnic, and then landing at Denali Basecamp! I hadn’t been there since walking off the mountain 15 years ago, on cloud nine for just having skied the Messner Couloir with an amazing team of skiers! I never imagined I’d be back in my own plane flying amongst giants! And, greeted by Denali’s Raven @leighanfalley herself, who I met in this very spot so many years ago! So cool on so many levels! Thanks to @tt.megan @vintage_nomad @isaac.landecker for a fabulous day!

Denali Base Camp is amongst the most picturesque places I have ever landed my supercub!

What an amazing experience to see people arriving at base camp feeling excitement after completing the summit to the top of Denali! Also amazing to see climbers going through and organizing gear as they begin their 2-4 week expedition to the summit. 🙌🏽
