These pictures bring me so much joy 💗 Last weekend I got to spend time with the extended Sagastume clan and celebrate love! I had not seen many of them in a while (some since childhood).

Thank you @mitchelldeguzman for capturing these shots on film! They remind me of the pictures our parents took during family parties. And they’re a reminder to keep making more memories.

Coming to Fox this February! Such a great, funny show with a lot of heart. Great writers, great actors, and and even greater crew, this was a pleasure as well as an honor to work on. I can't wait for you all to see it, I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed working on it. Catch The Great North this Feb. on Fox!

Taking a break from love and romance has given me some time to really reflect on my relationships.

Specifically my guy friendships.

I consider myself truly blessed to share my life with some really amazing men- amazing men who aren’t afraid to challenge my limitations beyond certain love situations that can trap and inhibit my personal growth.

They are key examples of what it means to be good men: giving, loving, kind, open minded and brutally honest. While I pride my sense of self awareness and mature approach, they will highlight flaws and problematic specifics that can and do go ignored.
So rather than dedicate a series of comics to my romantic situations, I’m dedicating this little series to my dope dude friends.

And now Isaac Sagastume.

It’s too easy to throw the gauntlet and claim all men are terrible. It’s also not true, especially when you meet dope dudes like Isaac. He’s heard my fair share of dating nonsense and offers a lot of powerful insight from the perspective of a first generation American fighting back a toxic culture that demonizes and ostracizes his latinx identity. He keeps me woke to the world and reminds me how dope dudes really can and should be.
