Warner Tully has never been just a place to me, it has been my home. It is where I grew into the person I am today, where I learned to love others deeply, lead with kindness, and find confidence in myself. Every summer has given me memories that I will carry for the rest of my life and people who have become family. It’s hard to put into words how much this place means to me because so much of my heart is tied to it. Knowing that these summers can’t last forever is heartbreaking, but I will always be grateful that I get to call Warner Tully home. Until Next year 5184!!🩷🫶🏻🌈🩵⛺️ #5184Life #campcounselor #summercamp

Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary,
Pure and holy, tried and true
With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living
Sanctuary for You
~ Randy Scruggs and John Thompson,

Thank you WarnerTully for an incredible 12 years, I have loved you unconditionally and what a blessing it is to feel that same love from you.

Seeing new people fall in love with this place and learn to be loved by it has brought so much joy into my life.

The bonds I’ve made here will last forever.

Will I ever hear bull frogs, birds, and crickets the same way I hear them here?

Through every schedule change, missed bell (boys side of camp), early KP, and rainy day, this place finds a way to make you feel whole.

Laughing until your ribs hurt and feeling your cup be poured into by people just being themselves and nothing more.

2.7 miles of muddy terrain passing in the blink of an eye with the people who make the place.

Glitter all over the sink, mud on the floor after death hike, bug spray and sun screen cans all over the porch. Even the messes are better here.

People you can tell anything to, share a hug with, and watch the slideshow at the end of the week with and know you did the best you could. The people who remind you that’s good enough.

Endless amounts of paint, shake and bakes, bongo swims, questionable things eaten, and jumps into the lake with your friends by your side to wash away the night.

Looking up to the people you work with and knowing they are praying for you to succeed as much as you are for them.

Working with your best friends and learning from them how to be better, do better, grow, and be the best version of yourself.

Dances, Dances, Dances, people you aren’t scared to be embarrassed in front of.

Seeing a new group of counselors come in and feel secure that this place is going to be perfectly fine without you and that’s not a bad thing.

So many talks under the lights of Blackfeet/Chickasaw porch, so many tears shed and wheezing laughter shared.

Feeling celebrated always, feeling like you belong somewhere and are apart of something bigger than you.

The countless slow dances, barnyard shuffles, steamrolls, food eaten out of feet, and the occasional shaved head. Around the Rooms,
