Willow Sap EP is HERE!

In the 9 ish months that have passed since my song about my Nana first made its way around the internet, gift after gift has fallen into my lap 🌸

My angelic friends put up with all kinds of peculiar choices that I made throughout the process. From my mic stand made of furniture and buckets, to my duvet-lined living room studio, to building a theater set in parc maisonneuve, every idea that I had, they made it work AND they made it better 💛💛💛

Grace's harmonies in Sewing Song will haunt me for life ❣️ You don't know what love is until you know the meaning of the blues!!!!! And Kieran's fiddle on Winter in Alberta is so accurate to the point of the song, you'd think he was in the fkn room when my mama passed on 🤍🤍🤍

My kickstarter backers took a leap of faith in me and my beloved dance partner helped me with every cold call, door-knock, email and news pitch 💕💕

My tiktok followers are 85% non-men and I DEVOUR every single comment, whether its confessing to their grandmother's murders, getting a tattoo of MY grandmother, or sharing their athletic accomplishments, it fills me with absolute glee to know I'm starting off with the coolest possible listener base ⭐️⭐️ YEEHAW 🥰🥰❣️❣️❣️

Thanks for listening, folks!!! ⭐️⭐️💛💛🐬🐝🦅🦅🌎

I brought two handfuls of film on this venture south, this is just part one. Thanks to everyone and their kindness in Tennessee. Thanks to Isaac for letting me abduct him and bring him to the South to record an album. Thanks to @mugwalker for being the truest friend and to all the other pals, I can't begin to name. New ones too.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] [SHOW] [LIVE RECORD]

Usually people make an announcement when they’re releasing an album, today we’re announcing we’re going to record it.(!) This set we are preparing is a lot of love for the old, and of us dreaming of the new.

Also part of the show is never seen before duo set from Callum Ellis-Mennie & Angus Watt :OO I’m almost more excited for that

We will be playing for you at Casa Obscura by the corner of Papineau / Marie-Anne. This place is one of Montréal’s treasures and it’s a real treat for us to be able to do this here.

When: October 8th // 8pm
Where: Casa Obscura [ 4381 Av. Papineau ]

This show is free to attend :)

Thank you @kasiub for the accurate visualisation !

I want these pictures printed glossy and stuck behind thin plastic holding them two by two double sided in a book on a mantle. The power of friendship mixed with the talent in our world can move mountains holy moly we were so far away and so close together. @dawsoncityhonkytonk was it.
