A new mix up now on Parisian web radio & video platform @projet_ohne. This mix took on many different forms before finding the right mood. During the last few months I've felt an eerie calmness which is both pleasant and uneasy at the same time. The tracks follow this twisted world and have a Lynchian feel where doom jazz meets noir-ish electronics and rhythmic noise melts into industrial rituals. Get lost in this one at www.projet-ohne.com + their SoundCloud. Swipe for track list! #thebrvtalist #projetohne #lychian #noir #electronics #doom #jazz #paris #industrial

RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT
.
Tentacular Kinship is the first release of suspension, gathering the multiple efforts of 18 artists in total, spread between Lisbon, Berlin, and London, united by an invisible yet powerful force of collaborative kinship - the very glue of our sound and practice.
.
After two years of existence of mina, suspension comes as an anarchic-womb/platform that delivers a compilation of rich and prismatic musicality raging from dreamscape ambient, promiscuous variations of techno, bass breakbeats, funk & dirt, among other variations of experimental electronic music.
It will have its official release on the 23rd of March at the suspension residency at @galeriazedosbois, in Lisbon, comprising live acts, DJ sets, workshops, film screenings, panels, and performances.
.
The compilation is free. Feel free to acquire, to use, to play, re-edit, mashup, loop, recycle and spread its tentacles. Nonetheless, keep in mind the importance to share your creative sources and artistic references.
All the donations will revert to the production of our next release.
.
Instigate and cherish new alternatives, reimagine histories, build future sounds and form alliances.
Tentacular Kinship is the suspension of disbelief and cynicism of a world set in a blaze.
.
suspension is an offshoot of @minasuspension operating as an artist platform and label curated and organized by @bleiddd_ and @marumwelt.

Inaugurating our soundcloud, we bring you @isabbassi 's live at the last Suspension night.

One of the suspension artists, Isabassi -aka Isabella- is a Brazilian DJ and sound composer based in Berlin. Since last year, she has been working on her co-founded project, Hölle, a series of events which combines live electronic performances and DJ sets with live hand-poke tattoos. Ranging from industrial and techno to experimental and bass music, the party's encouragement to experiment on the dancefloor also mirrors Isabella's intentions with her personal work. She recently debuted her live set at suspension x mina night, presenting last projects built with edited field recordings samples and drum machine, all ran through overdrive and DIY distortion pedals.

Next Saturday at mina 10 we invite @isabbassi! Isabassi is a Brazilian electronic music composer and DJ based in Berlin. Highly influenced by industrial and rough sounds from the surroundings of Sao Paulo and the German capital, her musicality translates this aggressive environment through harsh and erratic drummings and heavy textures. Aiming a sort of ritualistic experience, she explores different rhythms patterns to stimulate the body, letting visceral impulses come to the surface.
For 2018, Isabassi has few releases on the go in labels such as Fox & Hound Recordings and Subkultur, while also promoting Hölle, a gathering in which electronic live performances and hand-poking tattooing join forces.
