I took my first class at Kage in April of 2025 and soon enough I was hooked. I spent my summer before my freshman year of college with an unlimited membership and knew that I wanted to become a teacher.
Every break…fall break, thanksgiving, winter, I would come home and go to Kage. I loved it so much. In December, I signed up for a June certification course to teach mat Pilates. Not only that, but I also took a semester long Pilates course at Ohio State (shoutout @ohiostate_sfhp) to deepen my understanding. Fast forward to summer 2026, I joined the Kage team on the front desk side (with my favorite person ever @camryngross) and I got to work with so many amazing people and meet the amazing Kage clients. It made me love it even more. Once I got certified, I started teaching sculpt and now here I am! I just taught 11 classes at Kage in the past week and I couldn’t be more grateful. Sounds sappy and a little embarrassing but I mean it when I say Kage changed my life! I’m so sad to be going back to college and leave this space but I just wanted to make a commemorative Kage post. Thank you @kendellmgross for creating the best community ever and allowing me to be apart of it. 🤍 See you in October(?!)
