Congratulations to this graduating crew of QBallers! I was invited by one special SMHS graduate to the ceremonies and saw 8 QBallers walk across that stage. So awesome! Thank you @isabella.ortizzz ❤️

YEAR ✌🏻

4 years ago I joined powerlifting on a whim because I didn’t make the volleyball team little did I know it would be the best decision I would ever make. I didn’t take it seriously until the summer going into my junior year. I put so many hours in to get where I’m at now with an amazing team, coaches, and family who pushed me to my limits to help me reach the state meet 3 times and eventually come out 2nd in my division for my senior year. I wouldn’t trade all the memories and experience for the world. Through out these last few years i have seen the respect each lifter has even when we are competing head to head because it’s a lot more than just lifting big metal circles it’s the hours upon hours of work and discipline to reach the goals we set for ourselves especially just to make weight. I’m also so proud of each and every one of the people I have lifted with these past years and a huge congratulations to the guys who became back to back state champions!!
