PIH Training Institute & Hill Day 2026! 🌎

This past weekend, our team traveled to Washington, D.C. for Training Institute and Hill Day. We attended workshops, connected with Engagers, and learned more about PIH’s advocacy work. On Hill Day, we met with staffers from the offices of Rep. Sean Casten, Sen. Tammy Duckworth, Rep. Nikki Budzinski, and Rep. Jonathan Jackson to advocate for the release of global health funding that Congress had already approved.
Looking forward to bringing what we learned back to UIUC this year! 🧡

Illini Alumni🎓—but what is even an Illini and why are we fighting 😭 💙🧡

And for my next trick…I will begin Ph.D. studies in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis as an Ann W. and Spencer T. Olin-Chancellor’s Fellow this fall! ❤️💚

Thank you to my friends and families for the love, support, and good times and my professors, residents, and jobs for the chaos ✌🏽🥳
