I put my sailing dreams on hold to check in on a sick relative, and potentially sell Bouboulina. I would be buying the boat I grew up on from my dad. I made a hard decision, got my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license, and started my first sailing gig. My relative got worse, so now I’m back in Maine with a new project aboard Nimbus, an engineless tiny schooner. The past year of my life has been crazy…

The best best part about sailing around the world is the people you meet ☺️

The story of the past 3 years of my life, condensed into 30 seconds! 😂 Crazy how time flies. After all this work, time, and money, it’s amazing to finally be cruising around the Caribbean, and planning to sail on to Panama, and then the Pacific! Sailing the world has commenced ☺️⛵️

After 11 days at sea, we finally made it to the Caribbean! It was time to celebrate with new and old friends, and enjoy the warm water, clear skies, and of course all the island shenanigans.

@peytonweigel and his crew were the perfect welcoming committee to get the party started, and he got some incredible drone shots of us sailing in light air.

Plus, we have new crew on Bouboulina! Welcome aboard to @isaheeling , from the Netherlands! She’s crossed the Atlantic twice on a tall ship, and wanted another sailing adventure before starting work!
