#weareallimmigrants #immigrantparents

I never thought I would join a sorority but after I transferred to UCO, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to stop by the SLA table at the involvement fair. From the moment I attended the first informational, my life changed for the better. Joining this sorority has given me so many new friends, experiences, and life long memories I know I’ll cherish forever.

Joining SLA has been my best decision so far in college. After moving away multiple hours from home, I felt lost. Until one of my line sister dragged me along to an informational. Ten minutes into the informational I knew I had found my support system I needed. I'm so grateful for that day and my line sister(Leslie Rojo). I can't wait for what's to come for both SLA and I.

Deciding to join the sorority of Sigma Lambda Alpha Inc. was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As an organization not only does the community matter to us but also being able to grow together as individuals is a big part of the sorority. I now have a group of supporters that I call my sisters. I can’t wait to see what awaits my sisters and I in the future.
