What do you guys like to listen to during runs? My usual go to is audiobooks 😂 I love stopping mid-run in utter shock of what I'm listening to. Anyone else??

90 days. 90 runs.
Some were strong. Some were “is this even running?”
All between 1 and 26 miles.
But every single one happened because you guys posted first.

Your “Just got it done” story.
Your “easy 3-miler” with an 8-minute pace.
Your "long run Sunday" posts.
Your sweaty post-run selfie that made me get off my ass and go do my mile.

I didn’t always want to run.
But I saw your post… and thought,
“Damn it. Now I gotta go too.”

So thank you.
For the unintentional guilt.
For the quiet accountability.
For the steady unknowing peer pressure everyday.
For making me believe I could do this — one day at a time.
This community is the best. Thank you 🫶🏼🔥

Here’s to 90 days of movement and 90 more… powered by peer pressure and discipline I didn't know I was capable of.
Let’s keep going. 🏃‍♂️💥

I've been really struggling the past week with the completion of this Marathon.. I crushed my goal and exceeded my expectations but still couldn't quite grasp the reality that I did that.

Imagining me telling my younger self that accomplishment.. I'd be shooketh and in utter disbelief at the idea of running 26.2 miles in 4 hours 11 minutes.

Yes, we absolutely did do that🙌🏽🔥

Global Running Day. Still sore from first Full Marathon. San Diego. Let’s recap it🔥

Woke up on time, showered, took one bite of food and said “nah.” Gardened on my way to start👀 Felt amazing. Nerves: unmatched and wracking my body😬🫠

Started late thanks to a porta-potty line from hell, so I sprinted out the gates and kept that pace for like 17 miles😅 I missed the first water station entirely and traded it for a tequila shot, a beer, and red vines somewhere around mile 5. I saw a barefoot dude 3 times and idk if he was doing it to shame everyone or to punish himself.. Those “power-up” signs people hold? They actually work btw, so NEVER SKIP THEM🍄🌟

Mile 13 the downhill behind Old Town nearly yeeted my kneecaps to SeaWorld.
Mile 18 I hit "The Wall" after seeing my family’s surprise fatheads. I was expecting a jumpstart, but just wanted to stop and quit.. but under 10 miles left, "don't be a bitch".

Oh yeah.. if you're in a group on a narrow path, please don't stand shoulder to shoulder and make it impossible for people to pass😅

Mile 23 the infamous 163 highway hill. Calves cramping. Achilles yelling. Pure survival. All of us feeling the same pain🙃
Mile 24 every muscle cramped—quads, hammies, calves, shins, brain.. soul.. 🥲
Mile 25 Why is there another hill?!😩
Mile 26 saw the finish, didn’t record it. Wanted to feel it.. didn't feel how I thought it'd feel..

No one would hand me a medal til the 3rd person I grabbed for. Found a crushed banana in my Alphaflys🤣 Got my medal engraved… they misspelled my name (of course..) Then walked a mile uphill back to my car and drove a stick shift in Downtown traffic. Iconic recovery vibes💀

Grateful to have run the OG Rock ‘n’ Roll city for my first ever 26.2. My hometown. My favorite city! The best people and vibe always. Wouldn’t change a thing (except maybe the humidity, hills, the cramps and the Alphafly banana).

To be honest.. I'm not as "proud" as I thought I'd be.. I absolutely crushed my goal by 50 minutes and exceeded all expectations but idk.. I'm too hard on myself.

Marathon complete. Runner for life. A marathoner? Happy #GlobalRunningDay family! 🏁🏃‍♂️💀💪🔥

26.2 miles.
4 hours, 11 minutes, 21 seconds.
Day 76 of my run streak.
First ever marathon.
In my favorite, America's Finest, city!

I went in just hoping to finish under 5 hours..
I crossed the line almost 50 minutes faster🤯🔥
And honestly? It was incredible. Better than I could've imagined — the energy, the pace, the vibes, the city, the people!

So why do I feel a little… off?

I thought I’d be flying high all day yesterday. But after the celebration, the medal, and continued soreness — came this quiet little crash. Like my body’s not the only thing in recovery mode after those miles.

I AM proud.
Proud of the work.
Proud of the discipline.
Proud that I showed up every day — and somehow turned that into this HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT!
But I’m also sitting here with the post-marathon blues. And I guess that’s part of it too.

I'm proud of the journey that led to be able to exceed my expectations, but not as proud of the actual completion of the miles.. idk what it is.

Is it just me? Anyone else ever felt this way after a big race??

Marathon complete. Streak still alive. Gotta get my recovery mile in today for Day 77!

Still figuring out how to process it all.. love you guys!
