Today we celebrate International Women’s Day. A moment to recognise the women who paved the way before us and the ones who continue to walk beside us.

I am deeply aware that I stand where I stand today because of the women who believed in me long before certain doors were visible to me. Starting with my lifelong girlfriends, who have supported me through every phase of life. I also think about my very first manager @pmwaro. Her belief in me changed the course of my direction. Sometimes it only takes one person who sees something in you before you fully see it yourself. I would not be where I am today without her support and the many other female leaders who opened doors along the way.

That experience is also what inspired my mentoring initiative @fe.space. From the beginning I said: if I can support even one person in finding their path, it will be worth it. But as we continue these conversations, one truth remains clear. Women receive a lot of advice. What we often need just as much are people willing to open doors. Because somewhere there is a seat waiting for you that you may not even see yet.

Here’s to women, every day 💛.

Very proud to have been part of the @cphfw talk: 20 Years On – What Is Ahead for the Future of Fashion. Bringing my perspectives into a public dialogue like this felt both timely and necessary.

The industry has changed a lot over the years, but there’s a lot of work ahead of us. We spoke about the courage it takes to make deliberate choices today. Whether that means creating distance from the industry, pivoting into a new direction, or allowing careers to evolve beyond a single, linear path.

We touched on the invisible majority of roles that hold this industry together: the connective, often overlooked work that rarely sits in the spotlight, yet shapes how fashion functions every day. We also reflected on the future of work, and the role of AI as a tool. One that requires new ways of learning, collaborating, and thinking about value.

Much of what I shared was shaped by the questions I continue to explore through [Reimagining Fashion Leadership]. I’ll be sharing a more detailed reflection on this Copehagen Fashion Week season in my next Substack edition, publishing tomorrow.
