¡JUGADORES SOLD OUT!

Two years of Visiones Nocturnas!
.
I first showed Visiones Nocturnas in Guadalajara on Sept 2024. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to travel it to Ciudad Juárez, Mexicali, and Tijuana, always taking on different shapes, existing in different spaces, and gathering a ton of memories.

Now, on September 18, an expanded version of the project will open at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego @mcasandiego as part of Visiones Nocturnas: Queer Nightlife in Contemporary Art curated by Amy Crum @crummy_disposition 🖤🪩!!!
.
Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to expand on this project and be a part of this amazing group exhibition and very very grateful for these past two years and for all the people who have helped this project move through the world. All the work behind each install, late nights, borrowed and found spaces, and all the steaming and ironing that made it possible.

Specially thankful to Azul Arena and Edgar Picazo who supported the creation of this project, to Greg Nasca for helping me make hundreds of handmade porcelain disco ball tiles, to Octavio Castrejón who led the intense installs at these unique spaces, and a hugeee thank you to all the other folks who have been a part of this, David Delgado, Laura Turon, Sala Roxy, Alex Seratos, Mino Kiyota, Mayte Miranda, Planta Libre, Daril Fortis, and so many others who have shared their spaces, shared about lives and experiences in nightlife, or spent time in this installation.
