The other day I decided to “dupe” the vibes of the *earlier* teasers we got for the Safiya 2.0 collection!

Fun fact, I couldn’t find this moon topper at first because I was trying to destash it, but nobody bought it!🤣🤣

I haven’t done one of these in a while! I was inspired by the GORGEOUS blurple color used in the email promos, so originally this was gonna be just a “Peri-Social” or “Midnight Marina” mani with bat glitters on top. Then sneak peeks of the first polishes started and i was like… ok, challenge accepted! I WISH I had held out just one more day tho- I would’ve loved to put in “Sparkling Spurs” (maybe w some reflective glitter?😍). For example, i was torn between “Shadow Lake” & “Moonlit Rodeo”, so I ended up just putting one on my thumb as a ‘bonus’ shade /for comparison😂 But that could’ve been my Sparkling Spurs moment!

At the time of typing this, I still haven’t received my collection in the mail yet so these were 100% done purely through email teasers🙏🏼 Speaking about waiting on my collection, #WHOREMEMBERS the infamous story of how my OG Safiya collection box was at my local post office 7 minutes away from me before it somehow got shipped to TEXAS, literally across the country??😭 I’ll never forget, it was the first time USPS was in charge of my PR box instead of UPS (my goats!). I still hold a grudge over that one situation to this day😅

I’m jumping back n forth between topics here, but I haven’t discussed my pinky nail yet! It was probably the one I tried hardest with… I layered “Vitamin Glow” + “Moon Lagoon” over top of each other; the results are subtle but it IS different [enfuriating to try to capture on camera!!! On slide 3. it looks much more in the middle irl🥲]. Now that more teasers have come out, I might’ve added a topper or something to it too, but I still like that because of the shimmer formulas, this kinda worked🥰

Pre-launch jitters are real!!! Everyone protect those nails out there, avoid that launch day curse!🙅🏻‍♀️ It’s claimed too many of us.

In the past I didn’t know what could I match with this turquoise polish but I guess I just needed to find a red or orange since these colours are already in it to make it work 😂🥰

Throwback alert! Look art so the shimmer and fun glitters. We're getting far back enough now that I really struggle to remember what the polishes are unless it's super obvious or I have a photo of the label. Help me out, do you think the polishes are right?
I'm so lucky to have a bunch of super fun polishes that I can never get tired of the combinations. Makes me want to do my own stash which is really good!
