It’s been 15 Years since Opposing Views presented how the ideologies of the few impact the many.

We can’t help but reflect on that in today’s moment.

The experimental visualization of conflict in democracy and the role of civic debate through biofeedback sensor-driven, real-time animation driven by the emotional fluctuations of the participants.
Exhibited across the 400-foot media façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb — the museum’s first real-time media façade commission — as part of Dislocations, presented by the International Symposium on Electronic Arts (ISEA) Istanbul 2011, an Official Parallel Program of the 12th Istanbul Biennial .
Opposing Views was made possible with the support of Possible Futures, the LUBO Fund, and the Patron Circle.
Thankful to MOCA, Zagreb volunteers and ISEA curator, Lanfranco Aceti!

A year shaped by curatorial practice, research, teaching, and long-term collaboration. In 2025: three group exhibitions and one solo exhibition curated; numerous talks and lectures delivered; many classes taught; five texts published; and the launch of a major collaborative cultural programme that I had the opportunity to initiate and shape curatorially.

My deep gratitude to all collaborators, artists, colleagues, and institutions who made this year possible.

Playing the academic game Publish or Perish resulted in the following:

The article Beyond Matter – Exhibiting in Computer Generated Spaces was published in ParaVerse_Digital Transformation in Curating, Exhibiting, and Collecting Practice, Birgit Mersmann and Hauke Ohls (eds.), Special issue of the journal OnCurating.

Together with Felix Koberstein we contributed to Methoden der Ausstellungsanalyse, edited by Luise Reitstätter and Carla-Marinka Schorr with the text Das Digitale Ausstellungsmodell. Vorstellung eines neuen Methodenwerkzeugs.

Both texts describe research outputs of the Beyond Matter project I had the chance to lead at the ZKM between 2019-2023.

We had the chance to present and publish our research on non-digital art transformed by hybrid exhibition practices in the framework of the Paik Replayed project with Erika Marthins and Patrick Keller in Seoul at ISEA, and in the journal Kunstlicht, in a special issue on Online Curating, edited by Annet Dekker.

Also, accompanying the Seventh Lisbon Architecture Triennale's catalogue, How Heavy is a City?, edited by Territorial Agency (Ann-Sofi Rönnskog and John Palmesino) the text The Weight of Things: Exhibitions and Their Materialities was published.

The same article is online on e-flux Architecture, in Intensification, edited by Nick Axel, Nikolaus Hirsch, and Territorial Agency, in a company of wonderful articles by Kate Crawford, Laura Tripaldi,

These are actually only four. The fifth text was written last year, and is on the verge of being published.

Upcoming next year:

A reader to accompany The Data and the Sovereign project.

A chapter in Curating Superintelligences, by Open Humanities Press, edited by Joasia Krysa et. al.
