I’d like to thank @rasafoods for creating @learning.kitchen and giving me and others alike an opportunity to grow as passionate creators! To be able to share our love of nourishment in different forms at @libfestival is an incredible way to spread knowledge, recipes, and excitement for nutrition.

I loved meeting other presenters and seeing what they offer, how different each workshop was and seeing how it all comes together before going on stage. The learning kitchen is a supportive and kind space that I am fortunate to have been a part of.

It was fun to offer gut health tips through sharing a culture I feel connected to. This was my first time presenting and I’m happy to put the experience in my tool belt so I can continue developing public speaking skills. Thank you to everyone who came out and got to eat some fried rice!

🍚 until next time @thedolab 🪩🎵🍄

Life is just a 100 year vacation. 😄
This year was the 10-year anniversary for this crazy crew to dance off into the night and celebrate this wild gift.
It takes work. Lots of prep and organization.
But each time we arrive in a ho-dunk town in the middle of nowhere, we’re reminded how important it is.
⚡️@libfestival is a reunion. It’s a reminder of how good we can be to each other. It’s an opportunity to shake off the stress and soak up every morsel of joy and love for ourselves and each other. 💞
I’m grateful to the tribe that clears their schedule every year to make it happen. And if we missed each other on the dance floor, I hope to see you out there next year. 🕺🏽

Lightning in a bottle! Join me Saturday 6pm, May 23rd at @learning.kitchen for my workshop on gut health through cultural perspectives from Indonesia 🇮🇩

We will be exploring plant-based nutrition, soy-based protein, and probiotic rich ingredients with exotic flavors, all packed into one bowl as I show you how to make Nasi Goreng, Indonesia’s staple fried rice dish.

Come eat, learn, and connect through food. I’m so excited to bring this experience to you. ✨

@libfestival @thedolab See you there people! 💋

Feeling blessed and inspired this season to have been surrounded by so much love and good music, in such beautiful places.

Huge ups to @sunsets.shadows.gathering 🐍 @ahouseparty @xxsecondrodeoxx 🐮 and everyone in the community I could easily list for putting so much work and care into creating these spaces.

And to all the friends and DJs who continually expand my mind, always stepping up to the decks prepared to absolutely rip 🔊

Still buzzing from my time at @psychedelicscience conference put on by @maps__org 🌀🌿

Proud to become a member of Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and look forward to what lies ahead!

It was truly an honor to attend on scholarship and be immersed in such a powerful convergence of science, healing, and creativity. The brilliance of researchers and thought leaders was beautifully balanced by artists, musicians, and comedians. The energy was high, the people were incredible, and the future of psychedelic research feels full of possibility. I left feeling both grounded and expanded. Grateful to witness this level of mastery and innovation, and excited to integrate what I’ve learned into my future practice as a dietitian.

Thank you Psychedelic Science for gifting me this unforgettable experience. I’m so honored to be part of the movement. ✨🍄💫

✨An ode to ski season✨

Grief is an unruly house guest. It rolls into town when you least expect it, overstays it’s welcome, and often comes and goes as it pleases, leaving your house a mess and your nerves shaking for when the next time this a-hole decides to roll back into town.

Skiing is like that best friend who only visits you 4 months out of the year, if you’re lucky. You always wish you could spend more time with this friend, but life always gets in the way somehow and you both get busy. It’s okay though because when you see this friend, you pick right up where you left off. It doesn’t hurt that this friend is super popular and you meet the best people in the world when you do spend time together. And yeah, maybe sometimes when this friend is in town, you take it for granted that they won’t be here very long and you do other shit. But the truth is, skiing doesn’t give a fuck if you come or go, just that when you’re there, you’re completely present and in the moment.

Our little ski community has been wracked with grief since…forever. Ever since people started befriending skiing and the mountains, we as a community lose people way too young for doing everything from skiing something gnarly to just fucking standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even if you aren’t outside; we lose our strong smart and sensitive mountain people to suicide at much higher rate in the mountains.

While I’m totally sick of grief and feel like it’s far overstayed it’s welcome in my life for the past decade, I’m always reminded that I’m fortunate enough to call skiing my friend and these mountains my home. Farewell skiing, I will see you when you come around next year 😘
