INTRODUCING ACTOR @ishansandhu 💥 Ishan is grateful to have been part of the BFA 2020 class, where he met amazing people who helped him laugh, cry and play without fear. He is thankful to his Professors for giving him the tools to help him shape his artistic journey. He will forever cherish the memories made in Binnings, his home away from home. 💥 Ishan intends to stay in Canada and be part of its exciting theatre family. He is interested in creating his own work and enjoys the journey with his pen as much as rehearsing in the studios. Ishan is playing a detective in Wunderdog Theatre’s upcoming project IRIS, a twelve- episode podcast followed by a play. He is also in the play Maggie, part of the upcoming ‘Or’ short play festival at Havana Theatre. 💥 Ishan dreams of owning a restaurant attached to a theatre where his theatre company can put on exciting relevant theatre and dine like QUEENS ;) 💥 #ubctf #ubcthtrfilm #ubctheatrefilm #ubcbfaact #actors #actor #actorslife #actortraining #yvrtheatre #yvractor #havanatheatre #podcast #introducing #auditions #audition #shortplay #hireme

This week has been quite devastating for me to say the least. The show I was rehearsing for: Constellations, was cancelled, as well as all other UBC shows, my class’s showcase, auditions, classes and celebrations, all scheduled for the remainder of my final year. Although it is hard, I have hope that things will turn around for myself, my classmates, and my fellow artists around the world taking a hit from all of this. It is a bitter sweet end to my time at UBC, but I am grateful for the friendships, professors, successes and failures. Here is to a wonderful class, an incredible experience, and loads of hope for the next chapter of my life. 📸PC: @ju_bow
